Game 1 - Denver @ Miami - 91 - 97

This game was brutal for Miami to begin with. Miami had a total of 32 turnovers and things looked bad when Dwyane Wade got injured in the 3rd quarter. Miami found themselves down by 5 at halftime but the lead for Denver got greater and great till Miami was down by as much as 14. Denver was led by Tracy McGrady and Kevin Martin who really kept Denver's lead. But, when Dwyane Wade came back late in the 3rd and helped cut the lead to 8. In the fourth quarter the game went back and forth untill Dwyane Wade decided to put his team on his shoulders and just devour the Nuggets in the fourth qaurter. Dwight Howard and Dwyane Wade had big games but a unexpected hero was DeAndre Jordan who had a huge game. Player of the game honors went to Dwyane Wade.

Game 2 - Toronto @ Miami - 91 - 93

After the game against Denver, Miami's Dwyane Wade made his injury worse. As a result, Dwyane Wade will be out for 3 weeks (about 3 games because of a 29 game season). Without Dwyane Wade it looked like Miami would get pounded against a great Toronto ball club. The first half for Miami was brutal as they had no flow and could not stop Chris Bosh. Miami was down by 15 at half time but in the 3rd quarter Dwight Howard and rookie Micheal Beasley erupted as they helped Miami overcome a 15 point deficit. The fourth qaurter was back and forth with Chris Bosh taking over for Toronto and Micheal Beasley doing the work for Miami. The game was tied with 20 seconds left, ball in the hands of Derrick Rose. As time was ticking down Derrick Rose came off a screen from Jason Thompson and sinks a 16 foot jumper to take a 2 point lead with just 1.3 seconds left. As the fans erupted in Miami, Toronto had one last possession. Toronto inbounds the ball to Chris Bosh and he pulls up for three. Luckily for Miami, Bosh misses and Miami goes 2-0 for the season. Player of the game honors went to Dwight Howard for his huge game.

Game 2 - Toronto @ Miami - 98 - 106

Wade still out but this game was not too difficult anyway. Rasheed Wallace and Al Harrington were the key men for Orlando. Rafer Alston could not gaurd young rookie sensation Derrick Rose who dropped 37 points, 8 dimes and 5 steals. Gerald Green had a great game, scoring 21 points. Player of the game easily went to Derrick Rose.
