Tskitishvili shines, but Wolves fell to Warriors in OT
In the inaugural game of the season, the new look Wolves lost to the GSW 92 -90 in a classic which was decided in overtime (73-73)
At the begining the Wolves looked lost, they had no playmaker in the team. The first quarter ended 17-20 with 12 points of Skita and 5 of Dajuan Wagner.
The game was close the entire game, the only time a team had a light of leading were the Warriors when Baron Davis scored 5 points and Monta Ellis a Three pointer to put the game 71 - 61 with 1 minute left.
After that a timeout was called and the game was another.
Minnesota atacked and Penny Hardaway missed a 3pt attemp with 45'', then they fouled Monta Ellis, he sank 1 FT and Tskitishvili sank a 3 with 32'' left. The game was 72-64. Then they fouled Baron Davis and he sank one FT. Skita sank another 3 pointer from the middle to put Minnesota within 6 with 14'' left. Then Maciej Lampe stole the inbound pass and he was alone in the corner, he shot and made the 3 pointer with 10'' left. Biedrins tried to inbound a pass to Ellis and Penny stole the ball, run behind the arc and shooted sinkin his only attemp from downtown. Then Davis failed a 3 pt at the buzzer because Lampe blocked his shot.
In overtime GSW led by 5 with 3'' left and Skita made a desperate 3 pointer. Then Jiri Welsch stole the ball but his shot at the buzzer was long and Golden State won the game
