Hey guys! I've been lurking around the site, looking at various dynasties that are up and have finally decided to start one of my own. The team? You guessed it, the Orlando Magics! I'm a huge fan of young big guys in the making and that's exactly what Dwight Howard is. He's strong, tough and looks to be carrying the Magic's on his back on a search for title contention. Other reasons why I chose Orlando would be the young Jameer Nelson. He's sure has proven that he can lead his team at the point and with him and Dwight I think we got ourselves a up and rising "Dwyane Wade and Shaq" on our hands. Anyways, next is just a layout of how this Association will be played.

Brian Hill Announces Roster Rotation
Brian Hill (above) looking to start strong with improved rotation.
---------------------------------------------
Event: NBA Press Conference
Location: Orlando Florida
Regarding: Orlando Magic Rotation
*As Brian Hill comes into the conference room, he is greeted with cheers and applause.

Cheers & Applause)
[Brian Hill] Thank you, thank you. Before I announce this years roster rotation, I would like to say it's a privilege having the organization have me pick up where I left off during the 93'-97' seasons. But, this is a new year and I have a lot of new talent on the team. Our main focus was to build around Dwight Howard. I have changed ALL plans of that and added Howards partner in the rebuilding phase. That man, Jameer Nelson. He has shown that he has what it takes to lead this team along with Dwight Howard. The team seems to respect both and fully trust them. As for the rotation of the team, I have moved Dwight to the Center position considering he is in no doubt built like a center. HE will be moved to the 4 position from time to time but until then, center. I brought Keith Bogans off the bench to replace the young J.J. Reddick. Reddick, can shoot. But he still needs to get the feel of the game so I brought the veteran Bogans to start till we see Reddick understanding every element of the game. To replace Dwight in the 4 position, I brought up Bo Outlaw simply for his defense and his experience. The other two spots are certain. Grant Hill will remain the 3 guy and Jameer will stay at the point. As for our sixth man, I will put all my trust in J.J. Reddick. I know- after seeing him, that he can produce points for us off the bench. However, should he show me otherwise, then our sixth man will undetermined until we find a steady player who can produce for us. Now with that, I now give you my rotation for the 2006-2007 season:
--------------------------------------------------
Starting Five:
Jameer Nelson | Keith Bogans | Grant Hill | Bo Outlaw | Dwight Howard
Position Rotation:
Keyon Dooling | J.J. Redick | Hedo Turkglu| P. Garrity | D. Milicic
Reserves:
C. Arroyo | T. Diener | T. Ariza | Tony Battie

Yeah, I decided on Bo over the other two based on his defensive post ability. He's the best out of the three who can defend the post which is why I chose him. He also has a decent block rating of 75 . His main purpose on the roster is to defend that post with Howard. Once Howard is out Milicic is in for blocking, Garrity- for his medium-3pt ability (and at his position, he's expanding the floor for us), and after that, I have my 3 shooters off the bench in Redick, Turkglu and Dooling. So on offense, my starting five is designed to pound it and occasionally take outside shots and my relievers are designed to shoot outside and defend inside. It may change however, but that's my plan so far. Any suggesstions?

New Season, New Face: Fajardo to Take GM Role in Orlando
As the Magic enter the 2006-2007 season, Owner Rich Devos has been relieved of all duties and will be replaced by another. The other, Jon Fajardo(ME), who previously managed the Syracuse Orangemen as well as Carmelo Anthony back in the day. Mr. Fajardo is known for his competiveness and desire to win all games his team plays. He was offered this job when Orlando decided to turn a different direction and needed some fresh blood in their staff. Carmelo was the one who brought him and Carmelo is the one who got him hired as new GM/Owner unfortunately for another team. When asked about this, Brian Hill simply said, "If Carmelo and the rest of the league say this guys good, then this guy MUST be good!" Bringing this winning excelled GM in Orlando will hopefully excel the Orlando Magics down the right path.

Whew! Glad I clicked on it because it just disappeared from the other dynasty section lol
I've been waiting for a solid Magic dynasty to come along 'cause I wanna see D-Ho
goin' OFF!! This would've been my second team choice for a dynasty if I weren't already having fun with Houston
Anyway, GL man; this one looks like it has a lot of potential
