Carter Flys High, Leads Nets To 102-91 Victory.

Boston (ticker) – The Celtics traveled to New Jersey to face off against the Vince Carter led Nets, and what a game Carter had leading the Nets to a 102-91 victory.

Carter led all scorers with 32 points while going 13-20 from the field and also adding 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Richard Jefferson added 22 points and 6 rebounds and Cliff Robinson and Nenad Kristic added 11 rebounds a piece for the Nets.

Wally Szczerbiak who has been the center of trade rumors led the Celtics with 25 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists and Paul Pierce had a great start to the season with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Rookie Gerald Green had 4 points and 5 rebounds in limited game time.

The Celtics are at home tomorrow night when they face off against the Seattle Sonics.
