Bulls strike an early deal:

The Bulls did not waste much time to swap players in the 2005/06 season. They sent Jannero Pargo to the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets for Linton Johnson. "We believe that this trade will help both organizations," said general manager John Paxson. Johnson had previous experience with the Bulls and was well liked in general. Said Scott Skiles, "Linton gives us some length at both forward positions, and that is something we need."
