Based on current standings (04/06/06) and rosters (04/01/06), I have simulated the NBA playoffs for 2006 through NBA Live 06. Amare Stoudemire and Damon Stoudamire were dropped from the Phoenix and Memphis rosters respectively because they are out for the whole season.
I will probably do another one when all the playoff seeds are set, so never fear. Be prepared to be surprised...

B/s, Cavs won't win the championship. Glad to see the Nuggz make it to the Conf. Finals!

it was pretty accurate, till cleveland beat NJ and eventually the spurs lol
Sun Apr 09, 2006 2:56 pm
I must say, Cleveland winning the championship was a bit surprising.
I'll do this again in about 2 weeks.

umm... were we reading the same topic?
NJ will not beat Bucks in 4 games
Miami will not lose to Pacers
Cavs wont make it past Detroit
Miami will beat Pacers, and therefore NJ
The west seemed pretty accurate though, Dallas will probly get 2 or 3 wins vs Spurs though

The First Round was good... after that...

I think NJ has a solid chance to beat the Heat. NJ is the hottest team in the NBA right now with a 14 game winning streak while the Heat were good until they lost Alonzo. Plus Shaq isn't playing like he used to because of his injuries.
Sun Apr 09, 2006 3:27 pm
If im not mistaken... NJ was on a 10 game streak early on in the season, followed closely by about an 8 game losing streak, theyre no longer hot either... they lost
NJ may have won 14, including a few good ones vs dallas and detroit, but most of their wins have been against shitty teams.
Theyre not a chance against Shaq in 7
Sun Apr 09, 2006 3:43 pm
^^ Thats if Miami invovles Shaq in the game more.

suns lose to nuggets? bullcrap
