Gonna try and post a dynasty again, my last one (nets dynasty) didnt succeed. I got very sick and was out for nearly 2 weeks and after that thought it wasnt worth starting up again. Will upload all the stuff later tonight, p.s. anyone know any good trades for the boston bench?

ite play gerald green a lot (Y)

Sun Mar 26, 2006 6:38 pm

yer i will cos im not a big fan of wally, plus gerald green only needs one more dunk stat and hes a high flyer in his rookie year!! (if my maths is correct).

Sun Mar 26, 2006 6:40 pm

i wanna get rid of michael olowokandi cos hes old and useless, i have two known trades. Ricky Davis or Kwame Brown?

Sun Mar 26, 2006 6:42 pm

hmm, go for Kwame. I wanna see a good dynasty with Kwame in it

Sun Mar 26, 2006 6:44 pm

i was thinking kwame too, if i traded for ricky i would have had a way too many decent SG/SF's

Nice trade, got rid of the old Olowokandi (Y)

2005/06 Season Opener
November 2nd

New York Knicks (0-0, 89) V Boston Celtics (0-0, 85)

New York Knicks 94
Boston Celtics 114

Player of the game: Paul Pierce

ImageImage

The new Boston clutch partnership of Pierce and Szczerbiak combined superbly in each quarter to storm over their Atlantic Divison rivals. Paul Pierce fell one rebound short of a double double (32 points, 9 rebounds) while Wally Szczerbiak backed him nicely with a solid 31 points. Lafrentz (20 points, 8 rebounds) also played well despite the dominance in the paint from New York's Eddy Curry (17 points, 17 rebounds). Jalen Rose topped scored for the Knicks with 25.

Nice so far, very good hirings and I like the trade for Kwame. I'll be following this closely. (Y)

November 4th

Detroit Pistons (0-1, 91) V Boston Celtics (1-0, 85)

Detroit Pistons 84
Boston Celtics 91

Player of the game: Paul Pierce

ImageImage

Last year's runners up off to a poor start as Paul Pierce and Boston Celtics dealt the Detroit Pistons back to back loses. Paul Pierce was simply amazing achieving his first double double of the season (35 points, 10 rebounds). Pierce lead from the front with aggresive drives to the basket not favouring the 3 pointers of which he was 3-3! The Celtic bench combined well for 17 points and 6 boards. Detroit did not really play badly, Prince and Hamilton linked nicely with Billups also Ben, and Rasheed Wallace dominated the paint (20 rebounds, 6 blocks combined) bar Paul Pierce.

I like it, I like it. (Y) Especially having the box scores on this page, I hate when they are linked, as it starts to slow my computer down if I start to have a large amount of windows open, but that's besides the point.

I like the trade for Kwame, you should start him at centre.

Mon Mar 27, 2006 4:51 pm

November 4th

Boston Celtics (2-0, 85) V Charlotte Bobcats (1-1, 71)

Boston Celtics 101
Charlotte Bobcats 77

Player of the game: Paul Pierce

ImageImage

Celtics win big in Charlotte with an all round team effort. Points were widely spread among the celtics wtih Szczerbiak top scoring with 27 points. Paul Pierce was awarded with Player Of The Game honours with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Lafrentz achieved a double double with 10 points and 11 boards whilst Gerald Green chipped 17 points off the bench. Overall a pretty pathetic performance in the end from Charlotte. Absolutley no defense and a vary poor offense 0-9 from beyond the arc. Felton top scored for the Bobcats with 21 and Wallace collected a double double (15 points, 12 boards).

I was going to but i had a look at the stats of Lafrentz and he is a better blocker and rebounder, and i want to keep Jefferson on cos hes younger and im looking to build on him. Kwame can stay on the bench for now, i may look to free up some cap space and trade Lafrentz for an expiring contract before the deadline.

What do you(s) think?

Nice trade, but it highlights the poor AI of the game. There's no way the Lakers would take that in real life.

yer i know, but that trade isnt even close to how poor the AI is, there are way more extreme trades than that

Yeah, Lafrentz is doing a good job, but still it's Kwame. :P

I agree with keeping Jefferson on the starting line-up, as he has a lot of potential, so good luck with him developing into an all-star.

Good idea with trying to get right of Lafrentz contract, isn't it like 14 million for like... 3 more years?

Also, nice win against the Bobcats, they may not be much, but a win's a win.

i think its 10.00M with 3/4 years, i prob will trade for an expiring contract if he doesnt play well towards the deadline. Same thing goes for Wally Szczerbiak he doesnt deserve a 10.00M contract. Then hopefully i can sign Amare Stoudamire or Ben Wallace if their teams fail to resign them :)
