Detroit, MI - What a massacre.
The Warriors scored just 21 points in the 1st half and only 38 at the end of 3, in a low-scoring game of chance.
While holding the Pistons to just .389 shooting, the Warriors themselves shot just .341 on field goals, and just 15/60 (.250) in the 1st three quarters. The Pistons also went to the line 17 more times, adding to the woes for the Warriors. Failing to keep up, the game was over by the 3rd, as the Pistons jumped to a 61-38 lead.
The Warriors kept pace with the Pistons in the final quarter, outscoring the Pistons 28-26 in the final quarter to lose 87-66, in their worse performance of the season.
It was the third game the Warriors played without swingman Mickael Pietrus, who is sidelined with a wrist injury.
