Pregame report @ (Wednesday 19th Oct.)
"Welcome to the ESPN sports center. Tomorrow the Knicks visit Atlanta. Most of the time two equal teams are matched up we`ll see a close game - hopefully this one means no exception. The key will be if the Knicks can compensate the Hawks big men with their outside shooting. Let´s go on with the key matchups."
Key Matchups
VS 
"Once again Williams has to proof his defensive abilities. Although Marbury had an average first game, with 16 points and only 2 assist, he is one of the best scorers in the league - plus he is one of the players who will work even harder after a weak start. Expect him to be fired up."
VS 
"Davis will have his hands full tomorrow against Crawford, who had a strong first game with 22 points. Although Davis has an height advantage the Knicks SG will have no problems to find open spots. No question Crawford has the sweeter shooting touch"
Summary
"This time the Hawks control the paint. Sweetney will be able to bring in some boards but Okafor won´t give him much daylight on the offensive end and Frye hasn´t got the experience yet to prevail against Haywood. With Q. Richardson the Knicks added another great shooter to their rosters in the off-season so they don`t rely on points in the paint - we expect them to put up a lot of three´s. Crawford and Marbury are the key factors in the Knicks game. While Crawford has to continue his strong play, Marbury has to improve a lot if New York wants to take the victory. But as I mentioned before we expect the Hawks to win this one..."
