Starting Line-ups:

New Orleans Hornets

Portland TrailBlazers

The Game was an intense, and inspirational victory for the Hornets. In the first half, the Blazers came out amazingly motivated and flared the Hornets by a quarter-high lead of 15 points in the end of the 2nd quarter. Juan Dixon, who was the main leader of offense for the Blazers, in the beginning of the 3rd quarter scored two back-to-back threes on the Hornets. The lead was jacked up to a 21 point lead, Byron Scott imediatly called a T-O. One player who was playing good but over shadowed by the Blazers, was Chris Paul. Chris was shooting 7 from 10 at the end of Half-Time. Chris wanted to prove his point why he was picked in the First-Round. After the T-O, a huge run was beginning as Chris Paul found an open 3-Pointer, still an 18-Point lead for the Blazers. With 4 minutes left on the clock on the 3rd, Chris Paul delivered an amazing pass to J.R Smith for an alley-oop. Smith had an excellent 3rd quarter by scoring his 13 of his 23 points. With the lead cut to 16, Paul once again shot an amazing 3 to hype the crowd up. The crowd was back in the game, loud and clear. Until the end of the 3rd, the lead was amazing cut to 6 points. Byron Scott, wasted no time by getting back into the 4th, and Gerald Green found an open Sean May who then power the dunk in the paint. It was a 17-0 run, the run was quickly jacked up to 20, as veteran George Lynch scored an open three. The rest of the game was a complete domiation by the Hornets, but the Blazers managed to score some points. Chris Paul ended with a Hornets Record Debut of 41 points and 8 assists. Chris Paul was the POG.

News/Rumours

New Orleans Hornet Dan Dickau, left the Hornets Front Office furious, after demanding more game time. Dan demands a trade to whatever team if he gets no time in the Hornets. This is New Orleans best chance to get a replacement Big-man. Keep in mind Dan's salary is only 915K, it will be difficult to find someone the same salary.

Byron Scott has called the players for an extra-training session, after the Hornets lack-luster defense was broken into pieces in the first half, luckily Chris Paul came to aid. Reports suggest that Sean May, will go into the Center position to give him more of a defensive statement.

A huge shock for the Hornets after J.R Smith said to the ESPN.com "No playoffs, and I'm demanding to go to another team!" The Hornets have dealt with J.R briefly, and possibly benching him for 2 games, Kirk Snyder might be the replacement.

Really? I thought they kinda got ripped off. I traded two ageing big men, for two better players who were younger and better. P.J Brown is very annoying, he can't knock down shots in the paint! Magloire, who I found not really the player I needed.

Hey guys, I won't be able to update for awhile, I'm gonna be quite busy with work and other stuff. I'm saving for the PC Version of 06... maybe FIFA.
