Knicks complete comeback, win NBA Championship on home floor


For the first time in NBA history, a team has clawed back a 3-1 deficit to win the NBA Finals, with the New York Knicks celebrating with the Manhattan faithful in the famed Madison Square Garden.


Giannis Antetokounmpo was undeniable throughout the NBA Finals, finishing with averages of 46.7 points, 9.6 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 2.3 blocks across the series, decimating the points per game record set by Michael Jordan in 1993 by more than 5 points (41).


The Knicks' supporting cast was also pivotal down the stretch, with Andre Drummond and Jrue Holiday winning their first championships after 8 and 11 seasons respectively.
