As a fellow Knicks fan, I gotta say awesome Dynasty. It's been funny following this thread.

Thanks for the nice words.

lol.. i ran the old pick and roll then Cato dropped back to pick up Mohammed, easy three points.
Ariza's on the inj list at the moment. The guys over on the knicks forum say that he probably wont make the team so ive gave him a 48 overall rating. il try and work him in over the next few games.

Look for Marbury to run the offence score points and make plays for other players, the Knicks best player is the only one GM Isiah Thomas has said to be "untouchable"

Wildcard TREVOR ARIZA
Image Ariza, the knicks second round draft pick has the talent to go far and after a great summer league where he averaged 14 points and 6.8 rebounds so i will making way on the roster for the budding star.

Ive been on the Knicks forum alot and there are plenty of rumors serounding the knicks so look out for changes really soon.

The knicks got off to a great start to the season with a huge win over the pacers.Ron Artest hit two three pointers to start the game as you could tell that he was looking to build a big lead early on, Allan Houston matched him hoop for hoop both scoring 8 first quarter point.Marbury and Jermaine O'Neal had there own battles too, Marbury's 10 points to O'Neals 2 fouls rapped up the 1st 26-25 knicks.

In the second both teams pushed the ball O'Neal back in the game and on form after a bad first game of the season where he sht 32% vs the Nets. By this time the knicks had gotten summer league mvp Mike Sweetney into the game and he showed just how much he's improved, 15 points 9 rebounds in 29 minutes forceing coach to think about his starting lineup for next game. At the half the knicks still lead 49-48.

Image Sweetney's hard summer was paying off.

The second half of the game was all knicks, sure the pacers had there moments but the knicks were rolling using all 12 players on there roster sharing the ball in a new type of offence been shown that really moved the ball for the open shot or running the break with marbury who by now had 18 points in a strong start. Ron Artest had hit back with a big quarter also with a game high of 20 points.End of the 3rd 78-66 knicks

The 4th was all about the pacers trying to get back into the game behind strong play from Austin Croshere and Jonathan Bender both in for JO and Artest who had picked fouls. JB had 12 points and Austin 7 as they pulled Indiane close but the hot knicks just kept up the pressure.

NEW YORK KNICKS (2-0) VS. LA LAKERS (3-0)

Live from LA.

Staring Lineups

Even with big Shaq out of the picture the Lakers still have a 99 overall rating in the game, and this game was a high flying contest. Kobe was abit off only scoring 12 points but the new lakers picked up the slack.Malone came off the bench to score 17 points while starting PF Lamar Odom scored 14, Caron Butler lit it up with 16.It was the battle of the big men in the inside as Divac and Mike Sweetney rapped up double doubles Vlade, 13 and 12, Mike 16 and 10.
Lakers POG was no doubt Gary Payton who's near triple double of 8 points 9 rebounds and 14 assists made up for the missing Kobe Bryant.
Lakers took me to the 4th to put them away for good and the knicks got alot of help from Frank Williams with 6 assists, Marbury did his usual and Nazr continued his great play with 10 points 12 rebounds.

ATLANTA HAWKS (0-5) VS. NEW YORK KNICKS (3-0)

Live from New York.

Starting Lineups

I moved Mike Sweetney into the starting lineup to let him lose on the nba, he could of had a better game but it wasnt bad for his first game. He had 16 points 7 rebounds 2 blocks and 3 assists, not that bad really..lol.
But the biggest surprice was Vin Baker, who just came out of nowhere to score 16 points and grab 8 board. He also played great defence seen here blocking Jason Collier's shot.

The Hawks looked no better than last year even with adding Al Harrington,Josh Childress and Josh smith. The two J's both had great games of 12 and 10 points while Harrington had 14 points and 6 rebounds.

Tim Thomas had so many dunks it was so had to choose the dunk of the game, he had 17 points 8 rebounds for his best game of the year.Mohammed's still playing really well so good that i hope the knicks dont trade him!!

Terry and Marbury went at it pretty well Terry doing everything he could scoring 19 points passing 11 assists, Marbury got player of the game with 18 points and 10 assists.
Easy win for the knicks great start for Sweetney.Final Score 102-91 Knicks

Stats

A.Houston - 10 points 4 rebounds 3 assists

A great block by Diaw, and nice hustle from Frank Williams

Mon Jul 26, 2004 7:23 am

Good read. Also nice pics, especially the one where Diaw blocks TT. It looks real since most of the blocks in the game have the players hands going through the ball. (Y) I also like the one with Frank Williams.

The Knicks, after signing Vin Baker to a $3.5M wage last week, still have $1.4M of that exception to offer 6-11 Keon Clark, who's still on Thomas' radar. Thomas can also sign Clark with the team's small exception of $1.6M.

With the Mavs landing Damp is it time for mp3 to bring in Clark?
only time will tell....

Magic - 123
@ OT
Knicks- 120

I close game thoughout , rookies Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson stole the show pulling in the win 123-120 in overtime.
Vin Baker had a huge game off the bench tipping in the the ball with 2.4 seconds to go to tie the game at 120, the magic called timeout then shot the ball from 3... Mohammed jumped... and nailed Steve Francis on the shot.
Final score 123-120 OT
