DRAFT RESULTS

Postby Donatello on Mon Jul 19, 2004 4:46 am

I picked 5 people from NLSC to insert into this year's "draft"...you were the top 5 picks ;) I made most of you centers, due to the true lack of centers in the league.

Image

Houston selects....SF- Mark Moore (match_66)

Image

Atlanta selects....SG- Alcoholic (alcoholic)

Image

Boston selects....C- Remy Brown (ruffryder8)

Image

Chicago selects....C-Cocobee (cocobee)

Image

LA Lakers select....C- Honor Glow (honorglow)

*********************
2004-2005 full season coverage starting soon!

EDIT: sorry I'm a moron, Mark Moore was a SF, not a C. Sorry for the confusion

Game one vs. Atlanta

Postby Donatello on Tue Jul 20, 2004 11:41 am

This season's first game is vs. The Atlanta Hawks. Most of the buzz from Atlanta surrounds rookie Alcoholic, who will make his NBA debut tonight...

Image

As you can see, the teams play a similar style of defense. Should be an interesting, close game.

Image
So the 2004-2005 season begins...

Image

ANDREI KIRILENKO!!! He's certainly stepping it up on offense, to compliment his incredible defensive skills.

Image

Yao was hot in the first, but then went cold for the entire game.

Image

The Raptors just couldn't keep up with the speedster Jalen Rose.

Image

Joshua Carr had a tough game, but he did manage to get this 3 pointer to go in over the much taller Jalen Rose. Rose definitely used his height.

Image

Kobe Bryant....'nuff said.

Image

Tyson Chandler says 'No thanks, bud"

 Halftime Show!!!

Alcoholic played hard the entire game...he's going to be a force to reckon with in this league.

Atlanta's "other" rookie, Johnny O'Neal....

I really miss playing with all underdog players, so I am going to do something you will all flame me for and do some ridiculous trades so I can give my young players more playing time and develop them. My overall team rating is going to be like 12.

First thing I did was trade T. Chandler for J. Caffey--who I will never use. I really am just clearing out these guys- and I'm not even going to consider it "news" in my dynasty- I'm just considering it like I never had these players. Tyson, Kobe, and Yao are gone. Simple as that. I want underdogs. I'll post a pic of my new roster here ASAP.

here we go...i've officially changed the name of my dynasty to the UNDERDOG DYNASTY....

Oh, and in case you were wondering, my team overall is 59 now.

This will be really really fun for me. I love a challenge. And winning with this group of screwballs will be just that.

Great Dynasty man. The updates, and logos and everything make it much more interesting. :D

Ah, that explains it. I play at the game speed of 42 and still get too high scores in 12 minute quarters. Seems, like you run and gun a lot. The lowest point total I got so far in my dynasty was a 80-78 win in the playoffs over the Knicks with 10 minute quarters. I like it more realistic, at least score wise.
TBE

Hmm, this is interesting, I play with Ben's sliders v2 and I get scores in the 80s and 90s, sometimes 100s, playing at Superstar level, 6 min. quarters. My team isn't stacked either, I'm playing as the Raps. The opposing team also gets around the same amount of points, my games are never blowouts.
