1995-96 Rosters Detroit Pistons Dynasty!

Thanks to Andrew the 1995-96 mod is out now, and I jus tstarted a dynasty with the Pistons. Obviously, Shaq is with the magic, jordan with the bulls yada yada yada. ANyways, here is my roster.

As you can see i am hurting for a center. I think I'm either going to test the free agent market, or more likely, make Ratliff a center. This dynasty thread isnt going t obe like the other ones, as I cant play many games because I will get bored with it. I am going to sim most of the games and will provide updates at the beginning of each season, all star break, end of each season and after the playoffs. Thanks.

its halftime of the first game and Grant Hill just got an arm injury looks like he is true to his real life counterpart. reggie miller hasnt played much due to foul trouble and houston is having a good game, we wil lsee what happens.

Just finished simming the month of november. Thankfully,hill's injury wasnt serious and he only missed the rest of that game.

However, Otis Thorpe broke a bone in his foot, and was placed on ir. Eric Leckner was placed on the active roster in his place.

Current Record: 11-7 third place behind division leading Indiana and second place Chicago.

I will post that info for all to see. This thread probably wont last long as I like to move right through my dynastys lol. This patch is awesome, and I belive you all should download it.

you had terry mills as your starting center, but his rating is only 36
maybe you should consider theo ratliff as your starting center

If I recall correctly, Mills is actually 63 overall or thereabouts, I think that might be a typo. Anyway, glad to see the patch being put to good use, good to hear that you're enjoying it.

after the draft you just look for the drafted players and replace them with players that have been drafted in the next season.
for example:
the #pick shooting guard "gerald honeycutt" plays for the magic.
then you look for the player in the players.dbf file and change name and cyberface to allen iverson and so on...

You're hurting for a center eh... there's a rising star flying under the radar named Ben Wallace... I predict high hopes for 2004..

Ben Wallace didn't enter the league until 1996/1997.

He did try out for the Celtics in the summer of 95 though.

well, guys, so much for this dynasty. My mom just told me that tomorrow afternoon the family is heading up north until monday, at which point I start my new job and won't have much time. I was hoping to ge tquite a bit done before monday, but this family vacation of mine ruined that plan. I'm sorry if you were interested in this, hopefully you can find some other dynasty that will catch your interest. I know ANdrew just started one with his chicago bulls.

Sorry to come back to this, but it would be nice if Wallace was a FA. Everyone would sign him, but he wasn't very good back then anyway.. is he in the roster or are you convinced he wasn't available then, Andrew?

I was under the impression that he still played for Virginia Union through the 95/96 season.

Me too.. but then I came across this.. now that I think about it maybe he was declined by Boston, played some with Washington, tried for the Celts again declined again and moved on... never mind lol
