Very Good!.... Keep it up!

Alco, I have one question, how do you take screenies of other games if you run a dynasty of only one team? Like you control Dwayne Wade, or the Heat, so how do you get the screenies?

(It's just a little bit of thinking outside the box. ;) )

Miami crushes Golden State

The final score - 108 to 96

This is one of the typical Miami games. Start out strong, fall apart, then rally to win the game. This game simply oozed mismatch, with all of the craziest defensive assignments you could think of. Especially when playing zone, there were several players switching back and forth, back and forth. It was a great all around effort by both teams, shooting at least 50%. Miami managed to not turn the ball over as much, and also managed to overwhelming outrebound Golden State. Miami also had 8 steals as opposed to Golden State's 2 steals. It was a solid effort by all of Miami's players, while rookie Dwyane Wade posted 20 points 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Several players from Golden State were kept in check, with only Dunleavy and J-Rich scoring in double figures. Dunleavy scored 20 points, while Jason Richardson proved unstoppable. He was defended by at least 4 different players over the course of the game, but Miami was unable to stop him as he scored 27 points, shooting 41%, while also managing to dish out 8 assists. All in all, it was a great team effort by Miami.

Player of the Game - Lamar Odom

Player of the game Lamar Odom talks to reporters after the final horn.

Question 1: How tough was it defending Jason Richardson?

Odom: It was really tough, we had several of our defenders have their try at him, and he was just tearing us up.

Question 2: How is it to have outrebounded Golden State?

Odom: This amazed me, Golden State is one of the best rebounding teams, but we have solid rebounders like Brian Grant.

Question 3: You had 4 blocks, was it easy in the post?

Odom: It wasn't the hardest it could have been, I was having a great night.

Miami Pregame show
Game 14

Hardwood Classics Night

Image

Phoenix is hoping to make the playoffs, with a talented team of Shawn Marion, Amare Stoudemire and Antonio McDyess. Miami is trying it's hardest, but the newly acquired Antonio McDyess will prove tough.

Fierce Opponent

Image
Antonio McDyess

Despite his career recently plummeting, McDyess showed some signs of old in a game against the Los Angeles Lakers. McDyess was player of the game, putting on a show, as the Lakers only scored 74 points, the lowest score by any team this season. McDyess scored 21 points, had 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. If he keeps this up he'll be a handful for Miami.

During this game, McDyess also injured Lakers guard Kobe Bryant in the 3rd quarter. As Kobe went to the hoop, McDyess rejected him, but seemed to have also got Kobe good in the nose. Kobe was out for the rest of the game, but sources say he can continue to play if he wears a protective mask. Kobe has done so, and in the next games he has been wearing his mask. Kobe has been playing as good as ever with his mask on, as if he never broke his nose in the first place.

It wasn't until after Shaq's monster slam that they noticed Kobe was cradling his nose.

That concludes the pregame show and we'll see you at Game 15.

{
-It had to happen sometime, I forgot to save Miami player stats :(
-I had a stomach ache real bad, so after 1st quarter I had to sim the rest of the game on the bench.
-I'm looking for a better movie host, preferably one that allows larger file sizes. :)

Wade sits out early, Miami loses game

The final score - 77 to 107

Phoenix's long losing streak is finally snapped with a very energetic win. Phoenix was simply on fire, knocking down every shot. Dwyane Wade did not return to the game after the 1st quarter due to a severe stomach ache, which was a big reason why Miami lost. Though McDyess only had 4 points, his only 2 points were explosive, and he also grabbed 7 boards and had 1 block. Shawn Marion was the man with the hot hand, shooting 17-20 and getting 37 points. It should also be noted that Caron Butler had an AMAZING 9 BLOCKS. It was so amazing that they put him on Marion, but Marion was just too hot to stop. Due to Wade's absence, Rafer Alston had more playing time, but he did nothing to prove himself. Miami is now looking for a more quality backup point guard.

Player of the Game - Shawn Marion

Player of the game Shawn Marion talks to reporters after the final horn.

Question 1: How good was it to be that hot?

Marion: It was great, the Butler was in my face and I was still making everything, especially since he's been blocking other guys all game long.

Question 2: Do you think McDyess will have some more good games again?

Marion: I think so, after that game against the Lakers he proved he's still got it in him.

Question 3: Joe Johnson was able to fly under the radar. How was his game?

He had a great solid game, just pitching in his part.
