Ellis' Buzzer Beater Puts Bucks Over Celts
In a thrilling game that came down to the second, The Bucks topped the Celts in dramatic fashion. The 98-96 victory will be one of the most memorable games in recent history. Leading the charge for the Bucks were SG Monte Ellis and PG Bradon Jennings, with a combined 63 points, 18 rebounds and 24 assists the duo was nearly unstoppable. With the closest team-mate being Mike Dunleavy with a miserable 9 points, It was definitely the Ellis-Jennings Show in Boston.
Ellis and Jennings could be the best 1-2 combination in the NBA, if this game is anything close to how the year will goPierce and Garnett were only able to get 27 points combined against the Bucks stingy D. Rondo had 10 assists and 6 rebounds with his only 8 points being awarded via Free Throws. The Celts also had a total of 8 blocks in the game, and filled up the inside lane for most of the game resulting in the Bucks needing to count on their mid-range and deep ball.
All in all it was a great day to be a Bucks fan, But the real question is 'Will it continue?' with the loss of Bogut they will surely need the rest of the team to keep stepping up.
