Author's Note: Well, here it is. After being a long time reader here at the forum, I figured it was about time to give my own Association a shot. After their inspirational run this season, I have chosen to use the Indiana Pacers. I will be picking this association up at the conclusion of the 2013 NBA season.
Now open for posting (:

Cavaliers Land No.1 Pick
Kentucky's Nerlens Noel is widely considered the consensus No.1 pick
The Cleveland Cavaliers organization celebrated as they claimed the No. 1 overall pick at the 2013 NBA Draft Lottery on Tuesday night. This will be second time in three years that Cleveland won the lottery, with star point guard Kyrie Irving being their selection in 2011.
The Orlando Magic entered the lottery with the best chances of securing the top pick. They ended up with the second pick, likely giving them a shot at any player not named Nerlens Noel. The Washington Wizards had just a 3.5 percent chance of drafting first, although they still managed to move up to the third spot.
The rest of the lottery order held to form for the most part. The Charlotte Bobcats dropped from two to four, but there was very little unexpected movement besides that.
With the lottery set, here is a look at the complete order for the 2013 NBA Draft.

Pacers Release Trio of Players, West & Hansbrough to Resign ![]()
The Indiana Pacers have announced they will no longer be pursuing the services of point guard D.J. Augustin.
Coming off an Eastern Conference Finals appearance, the Pacers are expected to make a serious run at big-name free agents this summer. In order to find the missing piece, the club will need to create as much salary cap space as possible.
Augustin, who inked a one year deal with the Pacers last summer, played in 76 games for the team during the regular season, averaging a career-low 4.7 points per game and just over 2 assists.
Forwards Sam Young and Jeff Pendergraph have also reportedly cut ties with the team, electing to test their value in free agency.

In other news, the Indiana Pacers have re-signed forwards David West and Tyler Hansbrough.
The Pacers announced the signing Thursday.
West, an unrestricted free agent, heavily weighed his options.
"Yeah, I had some offers. But Indiana is where I want to be. I want to get it done here." said West of his one year $5.79M deal, with a player for a second.
The team also picked up Hanbrough's $2.50M team option.
