Dwight goes for a double-double but Memphis stays up top
Coming from a close one against the Knicks, the Magic were pretty excited for this one. But the last years surprise team, Memphis Grizzlies, are no easy picking, with O.J Maye, Rudy Gay, Michael Conley and Zack Randolph. Turned out, that they came to play.
Right from the start, the thing was neck-and-neck. Dwight had some pretty good plays with his team, but he was still holding them in the game. It kinda felt that it was like the Knicks game, only that the roles had switched.
And with that, Dwights team fell short and took their second loss of the season, 74-69

After a close loss, Orlando went away to visit the Nuggets. Being in a slump, this was "a walk in the park" for the Magic.
Nuggets held their own first off, as they were pretty good at the start. They had team-effort, as 4 players finished with double-digit points. But so did Magic, and sadly, Dwights inside game and Kembas outside shot was too powerful to stop.
Like guessed, Magic had a little stroll in the park, and they took a solid victory, 90-67

Finally, after Dwight telling the Magic front-office that he will leave, he has been traded to Oklahoma City Thunder, for one of the greatest scorers right now, Kevin Durant
In addition, Dwight Howard will leave with Quentin Richardson, while KD and Nazr Mohammed travel to Orlando. Both of these teams have fixed their flaws, but considering that OKC lost a great scorer and a important SF, Magic also lost size in their front court.
Still, both of these teams are hoping that these trades will go for the best.
In short:
Magic get: Kevin Durant and Nazr Mohammed
Thunder get: Dwight Howard and Quentin RichardsonDurant posts a new league-high in points, but a turnover costs them the game
Everybody was stoke to see Kevin Durant sporting in his new number, 23, and in an Magic uniform. He showed right from the start that he is here and ready to rock, but a lack of size and a costly turnover, gave Jazz the win.
Both teams kept the game close, but the only reason it was close, was the fact, that Durant was scoring like a beast. However, Jazz had a pretty good team effort, and Jefferson too full advantage of Orlandos front court. But the game was intense to the very end, as both teams did not want to let go.
But a really costly turnover by Nazr Mohammed, cost them the game, as Miles went for an open three, to seal the game, 90-87
