Ok ive gotten tired of the fantasy draft some im going to start a real rosters dynasty again.

Possibly i will sim the first season, im not positive.

The teams i'm thinking about are:

Miami
New Jersey
Utah
Golden State

So what you all think, i'm leaing towards Miami, especially since Ruff is doing a Cavs one now. The problem with New Jeresy is that they are quite strong.

Golden State would be an interesting choice.

i say miami ... nobody's done that before .. or not that i know of. and they do have a great basketball city ... so your pre game and post game reports would seem pretty great. Plus, people like to watch the heat, therefore you also have national and international interest. So i say pick the heat!
NJ is too boring
Golden State - Second Choice
Utah - third choice (not as boring as NJ), but u do have matt harpring, keon clark, arroyo, and lopez ... they're all awesome. clark is a defensive powerhouse. i've played a dynasty with the jazz, and believe me, these players are pretty good (Y)

i voted for utah, i also startet a dynasty with them, not long ago.
i remember trading kirilenko for nowitzki to get a good center. after that i signed kemp.
to get a young backup center i traded ruffin and paul grant to get kendrick perkins from boston.
ich also remember trading borchardt and pavlovic for penny hardaway.

I say Golden State. I used Golden State for a league I was in, and they are a really fun team. Erick Dampier and Adonal Foyle are really good defensive centers, Jason Richardson and Nick Van Exel can kill you with their jump shots, athleticism, and fast breaks. Troy Murphy is a good post option because even though he doesn't have the best moves, I like to throw it in to him, then turn around and shoot a jumper. Mike Dunleavy is a decent shooter, and is an above average man defender plus is pretty good at intercepting passes because he and Troy Murphy have long arms. I can't use Cliff Robinson, though. I can't score at all with him, from 3-point range or in the post. He's pretty good at defense, but he doesn't block shots. Brian Cardinal is a good shooter in the real NBA, but his form in the game prevents me from using him well. Speedy Claxton is an energy time player who is really quick and can get steals and score on the break. Golden State is in a tough division with the Lakers and Kings, so you will have a challenge with those 8 games.

Miami is my second choice. Dwade is a great rookie. Caron Butler has had a bad year, but he is still good. Brian Grant is a solid 10 RPG center/ power forward. Lamar Odom is truly a fun player; he can take it down low and is a good shooter. His best asset is his versatality. He can score from anywhere. Eddie Jones has a game similar to Kobe, only a few levels lower. Rafer Alston is really quick and is a great 3-point shooter. He can cross anyone up, is good at knocking the ball away, and can distribute the ball well. There will be a lot of fun matchups in your divisions with T-Mac, J-Kidd, the Wizards, P-Double, Marbury, and Iverson. They are all exciting teams that have talent and should provide some fun games.

New Jersey isn't a great team in NBA Live 2004. They are a fast break team in real life, but surprisingly in NBA Live 2004 it is hard to run with them. That's probably because it's a lot harder to make the great passes Kidd makes, and he's not a great finisher himself. Richard Jefferson is an underrated shooter, and Kenyon Martin is an underrated post scorer. The Nets' athletecism is only matched by the Suns. Their center is pretty bad, and that is a problem. It's a lot more fun to watch the Nets than play with them.

I don't think you should do a Utah dynasty. They are a good team, but they just seem so boring. Not athletic, the slowest team by far, not really good shooting outside of their point guard, and no post scorers. I don't like the Jazz at all.

Well i'm going against most people's first picks.

I'm gonna start one with Miami.

I played a few games with Golden State and Utah and found that while Golden State was very fast and skilled at offence i couldnt play that well with them on defence, so i was gonna have to play high scoring games to win. And Utah on the other hand were, as suggested, were very boring.

Miami look to be a fun and the players are good to use. Plus it will still be a bit of a challenge.

Too bad Clark isn't on the Jazz. Traded to the Suns for Guggliota.

Have fun with Miami. Try to deal Eddie Jones or Caron Butler (preferably Eddie) for a good center or power forward so LO doesn't have to play out of position, and so you can bang with the big teams.

Well i did trade Jones but it wasnt for a centre, i like the challenge of having an undersized team, anyway my style is based around my guards being able to get up there for the boards. Update soon jst hold on a little longer.
