Stern ends lockout, announces drastic changes
David Stern has officialy ended the lockout that lasted almost two months. Next season will be shortened to only 29 games, and every team has no players signed.
That means that in an attempt to make the league more competitive, every team will start from the beggining with the so called Fantasy Draft. Last years champions,
Dallas Mavericks will own the first pick, with Miami Heat coming second. Picks three and four are reserved for teams that were eliminated in conference finals, picks 5-8
for the teams eliminated one round before, and picks 9-16 for teams eliminated in the first round. Teams that didn't make the playoffs will pick from 17-30. Picks will
be decided based on the last year's regular season score. The team with 30th pick will also have 31st pick as the order will turn around every round.
