For the fourth time in five years, the NBA championship will be decided in a decisive Game 7. With Miami’s 114-101 victory in Game 6, the Heat and Kings are set for a winner-take-all game to crown a new champion.

“This is what we play for,” Dwyane Wade said, who will lead his Heat into battle. “I’m 32, so you never know how many more chances you’re gonna get to play in a game of this magnitude.”

Home court advantage has been the story of this year’s series, as neither teams has been able to win a game on the road. Miami opened the series with two wins, each by over 15 points. Then, the series shifted to Sacramento, where the Kings struck back with three consecutive victories. After winning a close, 103-100, contest in Game 3, the Kings blew out Miami by 48 in Game 4. Sacramento took that momentum into Game 5, winning 111-101 and taking a 3-2 series lead.

Fighting for their playoff lives, the Heat came up big in Miami and won Game 6, 114-101. The win sets up a fantastic conclusion to a competitive series, live tonight from South Beach.

“We’re so close,” Kings star Evan Turner said in anticipation of Game 7. “Right now, it’s a best-of-one series.”

What a great series

Awesome jop the Kings stroke back after 2 losses in Miami. Especially that 4th Game was huge.

Now lets see who takes it all.

I won't have any issues if the Heat win, but it would be really nice to see that young Kings squad get the trophy.

Wow. What a Game 4 massacre. I hope the Kings win a championship at last; they were robbed of a championship in the '02 WCF.
