philadelpia 76ers dynasty

hi this is my new sixers dynasty.. i simulated the first season and finished with a 35-47 record which was 12th in the east... shockingly jason kidd won the mvp and the mavericks won the championship....

this will be a:
82 game season
10 minute quarters
andrew's rosters
andew's sliders(i changed some parts of it though)

stay tuned for the preseason....

SHOCKING NEWS: LA signs and trades kobe for AI
- the whole nba community was shocked with todays deal which sent all star guard kobe bryant to his hometown of philadelphia for kobe bryant. in a blockbuster 6 player deal the sixers get kobe bryant, devean george and luke walton for allen iverson, glen robinson and kenny thomas....

Kobe Bryant: im excited to play for my hometown and lead this team to the promised land..the NBA finals... im also happy for the lakers because this trade still makes them contenders and hopefully i am looking forward to playing against them in the season and hopefully the finals.

Iverson: im not surprised that i was traded because there were already a lot of trade talks involving me last season.. im happy that i get to plsy for a great coach and great teammates... i predict we are gonna win it all the way this season....

Shaq: kobe will hopefully be happier now that he has his own team where he is the leader... im excited about playing with AI and the other new teammates and i think we are serious contenders... im looking forward to playing against kobe in the season and i am telling everybody now i will block one of his shots when we meet this season...

Sixers deal with 2 more teams
the philadelpia 76ers once again dealt with 2 nba teams to further strenghten their team for this season...

76ers trade samuel dalembert, todd macculoch, and derrick coleman to the bulls for eddy curry kendall gill and paul shirley...

76ers trade 8th overall pick lucious guile, scott padgett and greg buckner to portland for shareef abdur rahim, eddie gill and 2nd rd. pick alvin ferell..

more transactions by the sixers:
sixers waive alvin ferell, eddie gill and paul shirley.

sixers also fire their coach and hire doc rivers as their new head coach...

Sixers destroy Pacers on opening night 113-88
Wachovia Center, philadelpia PA - Eddy Curry led the new look sixers to a dominating performance against the indiana pacers. Curry who had one of the best games of his career and maybe his best all around performance ever finished with 25 pts, 14 rebs, 3 blocks and 3 assists. Sixers all star Kobe Bryant also finished with 23 pts, 3 rebs, and 4 assists. Ron Artests did a good defensive job on Bryant forcing bryant to shoot 8/25 from the field. Despite Artest's defense, Eddy Curry set kobe good picks to help kobe hit a couple of treys. The sixers interior defense humbled the pacers big man including all star pf Jermaine O'neal to only 16 pts and 7 rebs. Tinsley and Artest led the pacers in offfense with 21 and 18 pts. respectively.
The first half of the game was actually tight with the sixers only leading by 5. but leb by 13 3rd quarter points by Curry, the sixers outscored the pacers in the 32d quarter 30 - 24. The sixers then maintained their lead to finish the game 113-88.
