Nope, they got Thorton.

DOING THE DIRTY WORK: GRADING THE DEAL
As we recently saw, the biggest of the 'Biggest Three', Dwayne Wade, went down with an injury that cost him for the season. The Heat wasted no time getting his replacement, acquiring Marcus Thornton from the struggling New Orleans Hornets. The Hornets have gone down hill since the trade, only winning one game this season. Getting rid of their second star though, will make the most hated thing in the Big Easy. They fired Monty Williams, but gave him a spot in the front office, and hired no name coach Eddie Hardaway.Thornton was a home town hero, born in Louisiana, went to LSU, and was drafted by the Heat, and trade to the Hornets. But now, he goes to a better situation: To Cellar Dweller, to Top of the League. The Heat needed him, and now they got him, for a reasonable price.
Miami Heat: Marcus Thornton, 2nd round pick (NO)
The Heat receive D-Wade's replacement with Thornton, who is a bit inexperienced, but otherwise very talented. This team will still lose more games than with Wade, but don't lost much with Thornton. They also get a high 2nd round pick. Personally, the Heat won this trade. They are working with Thornton for an extension though. You don't want to lose him.
HEAT'S GRADE: A-
New Orleans Hornets: Carlos Arroyo, 2nd round pick (MIA), 2nd round pick (2011) (MIA)
The Hornets received a shining Point Guard in Arroyo, who can heat it up behind Darren Collison and Jason Williams. He can do well, extremley well, but probably won't start for a while, unless D-Col is injured. They received two second round picks for their future.
HORNET'S GRADE: C
In a game full of underachieving teams and plays, the Hornets pulled through.
With huge play by Darren Collison and David West, the Hornets pulled through with only their second win of the season, in Overtime, 98-97.
With 6 seconds left, and The Hornets down by 2, Collison found an open Flip Murray, who then drilled a three pointer that gave the Hornets the win.
"The crowd was so loud, I think someone went deaf." said Head Coach Eddie Hardaway, who was hired after Monty Williams was fired but then given a front office spot.
Many people outside of the arena said that they could hear the screams.
"I heard screaming, it was that loud. Then I saw that it wasn't the Superdome, but where the Hornets play." said Jason Lekeesh, a fan who heard the crowd's roar from his car.
"As soon as I heard the crowd, I turned on ESPN radio." said another fan.
It all started when Corey Brewer played extremely loose defense on Flip Murray, and when Collison penetrated, Murray was open, all alone. As soon as he shot, everyone knew it was good.
The Hornets have been in a slump every since they traded CP3. But they signed Murray to a two year deal, and Rasheed Wallace to a one year. This team may have the worst recrod, but they still have heart.
David West had 17 Points and 10 rebounds, Collison had 20 Points and 10 assists, and Murray had 12 Points and 5 rebounds.
For the struggling Wolves, this lost hurt.
"This lost felt like a punch in the face." said Kurt Rambis, coach of the Wolves.
"We wanted to win, we played to win, but we didn't win." said Delonte West, who had 11 points.
Johnny Flynn, who has done amazing this season, had 29 points, leading all scorers. Kevin Love added 18 points and 8 rebounds.
This may the bright spot for the Hornets, but for now, let's watch that shot in admiration. And some photo shots.
"This one is for the city of New Orleans," said Collison "We will never back down."
Crowd Screaming for Joy after the win
D-Col Pumped.
HADDADI GOING TO THE MAVS
The Mavs have acquired talented Persian Center Hamed Haddidi from the Grizzles for 2 2nd round picks, one this year and one next year.
In the deal, Haddadi goes to the Mavericks and a 2nd round pick this year follows. Haddadi has done amazing in FIBA Play, and has impressed many of the Mavs' brass, including GM Willie Lewis and Donnie Nelson. "He looks great." said Lewis. Ian Mahinimi and Haddadi will both fight for the backup center job, with the loser being going on the inactive roster.
The Grizz acquired Brian Zoubek, the undrafted center who went to Duke. The Grizz also acquired two second round picks. But Zoubek was the person to replace Haddadi. "He will do good." said Coach Lionel Hollins "He's played in the National Championship game, a huge stage. surely he can play in the NBA. It'll be no problem.
The Nets gave up their second round pick to the Grizz and acquired failure Juan Dixon, who the Mavs signed just for this trade. He will most likely be on IR, so no use to him
Here's a recap of the deal:[Zoubek]
