I'm playing NBA Live 05 with the New York Knicks. I also had a Fantasy Draft so rosters are all mixed up. Oh yeah and it's an updated roster too... so player stats are from the updated roster patch.

So I started late, but here are stats to update you guys on what's been going on in my Dynasty Mode. I play on my Macbook Pro using Boot Camp, so it'll be kind of difficult for me because I don't normally use Windows 7. But I'll do my best to try and get pics up and whatnot, while learning on the way.

Prologue:

This is not an underdog story. This is not an inspirational tale.

This is the story of a franchise turned superpower.

The story of a Dynasty turned Empire.

Plot:

A recent league reboot allows teams to select all active players for their teams through draft . The New York Knicks President Donnie Walsh hires an unnamed GM to select their first pick in the draft and of course it's none other than LeBron James, aka "King James." Regarded as the best player in the game today, LeBron James would find himself teaming up with players such as the aging Kevin Garnett and upcoming point guard Jameer Nelson. With Brandon Roy and Yi Jianlian, the team would fair against the likes of Kobe Bryant and Allen Iverson of the Denver Nuggets, Kevin Durant and Andre Iguodola of the Los Angeles Lakers, and Yao Ming and Pau Gasol of the Detroit Pistons. In the first NBA Reboot season, the undefeated New York Knicks faced off against the Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals, and after six games, the Knicks were the NBA Champions. During the off-season, The Knicks traded a few of their players to acquire Dwyane Wade and Eddy Curry, creating a Big 3 with LeBron James, Kevin Garnett, and of course, Dwyane Wade. The Knicks would go undefeated again but this time, their opponents in the NBA Finals were the 8th seed Los Angeles Clippers. With the odds completely against the Clippers, they surprised the Knicks by taking them to a seventh game, with the Knicks barely edging out a victory against the underdogs. The following season had no offseason trades, just a signing of a few new rookies. The Knicks team greatly improved, with LeBron James, Kevin Garnett, Dwyane Wade, and Jameer Nelson all becoming MVP Candidates and starters for the All-Star Game. Once again 82-0, the Knicks would meet their rivals Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, and the Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals. However, this time, the series would be a sweep. The media began to proclaim the Knicks as an "Empire" seeing how no team could defeat such a dominating team. To make the franchise even bigger than before, Eddy Curry and Shannon Brown of the Knicks would be traded off to the Charlotte Bobcats in exchange for leading rebounder and former MVP Candidate, Dwight Howard. In this 4th season, the Knicks have become a "superpower" led by "The New York Five," LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Kevin Garnett, Dwight Howard, and Jameer Nelson. It's halfway through the season, and the Knicks have continued to destroy anybody in their path. But all empires were created to fall, the only question is when.

@porky: hey thanks man. yeah i wanted to try and just make a very very very dominate dynasty where the team are like gods. it's gonna take a few seasons to develop them. but once i've established the knicks as a dominant franchise, i'm gonna switch teams and try to beat them. there's all going to be a story to this.

@z02: LOL. i know. i wanted lbj to really play the role of a "king" by doing a ton of unbelievable stuff like getting every single award and whatnot. but yeah, we'll see if i can keep his triple double average.
