Hmm yeah wasn't the best of games and rather even, i think Melo's big night did make the difference. I think we will miss Bosh, yet have gone 3-1 without him so far. Btw Andrew, I am currently 5 games into a 12 game homestand! Is this normal? I had an 11 game road trip earlier in the season too!

Good run there, nice work getting the job done even without Bosh.

About the schedule: it's certainly not normal by real life standards but NBA Live 10's generated schedules do seem to turn out that way.

Really? I don't remember that bug, but I knew there was a reason I stayed with 06 when it came to the PC versions. (Well, several actually.)

Andrew, yep, didn't happen to me, but I remember Pursuer's Lakers.

Anyway, tough break with Bosh, though Shaq's impressive play should compensate.

NBA Regular Season Game 41, United Center, Chicago IL.

Image

(25-16)Chicago Bulls 123 - 94 Utah Jazz(13-29)

Rookie stars as Bulls hammer out of tune Jazz

On a night where they made 25 turnovers the Jazz were absolutely annihilated by the Bosh-less Bulls. Rookie Bart Murray was the star of the show pouring in 28 points from the bench behind 12 for 19 field goals, he showed a stunning array of post moves to leave Utah centers Koufos and Fesenko in a spin and capped the night with a 15 foot jumper showing great touch for a 7+ footer, Murray also added 8 rebounds 3 blocks 4 assists and a steal to cap off a career night for the 21st pick. But Murray wasn't the only story for the Bulls, 6th man Kyle Korver had a ridiculous night against his old team, shooting a perfect 11 for 11 from the field which included 4 3 pointers. Rose and Noah were also big features for the Bulls on this night, Rose was just 1 assist shy of a 20-10 night, which he added 3 steals to, Noah continued to start in place of Bosh and had 17 points and 7 rebounds. But as good as the Bulls were, the Jazz were just as bad, Deron Williams actually led all scorers on the night with 29, but he also led the game in turnovers with 8, giving himself an assist to turnover ratio of 0.375, which really summed up the Night for the Jazz, who have looked awful since the departure of Carlos Boozer last summer. The Bulls, on the other hand, are looking great going into the second half of the season.

Game Leaders:

Points
-
Bulls (Murray 28, Korver 26, Rose 20)
Jazz (Williams 29, Kirilenko 14, Maynor 12)

Rebounds
-
Bulls (Murray 8, Deng 8, Noah 7)
Jazz (Koufos 7, Millsap 7)

Assists
-
Bulls (Rose 9)
Jazz (Maynor 6, Price 5)

Player of the game - Bart Murray(CHI) - 28 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks, 1 steal

Thanks mate, Murray's big night was only possible due to Bosh's absence also, as for the run it should have taken us to a higher position in the east but we are up to 6 games behind some teams, 8 games in 12 days leading up to the all-star break will sort it out though, btw, i am still ploughing through that homestand ;) lol

Martti. wrote:Korver is kickin some ass!

he sure is! was just lights out v jazz, as for your comment about Shaq's impressive play, he is being overshadowed by a 61 rated rookie atm! lol, big diesel is still a beast down low though ;)

i can imagine this happening in a live game lol, however my first game was live 08, if you exclude live 01 on pc when i was 9 and didnt have a clue what was going on! lol.

ASWeekend already? man! you're rippin' through the season (wish i were as driven)

that looks to be a pretty interesting AS Game especially with so many big names out... i am surprised to see a lot of familiar names 'not selected' too :? anyway, GL in the 9 game stretch

Well, i do simulate with intervention on and intervene in the 4th if losing for most games, the ones i have played all have match reports.

It is annoying to see the likes of Shaq, AI and Timmy not selected, beacause their superstar status means they always get picked, shame Live 10 only goes off stats.

Live 2003 plays 86 games a season if you add the Bobcats. :)
Jose Calderon is starting in front of Gilbert Arenas?!! Good to see Raymond Felton, Joe Johnson, and D-Wade in there. GO EAST!!!

Haha, not much to choose between arenas and calderon in terms of stats, which is what i presume Live 10 goes off and only that, Arenas 20 ppg 6 apg, Calderon 18 ppg, 7 apg. As I am the Bulls I will always be controlling the east ;)

I would like to think Bosh would be in there if it wasnt for his injury, strange thing with Lebron in terms of these selections is he recovered from his injury a day after they were announced lol, so he would easily be fit to play

Amongst the overhauls, improvements and additions to Dynasty Mode I'd like to see in NBA Elite 11 onwards would be improved All-Star selections that better simulate the real life process of fan voting, coach's selections and injury replacements as necessary.

There's no issue of clearing space or anything like that, if you're done with it we can just let it fall back into the archives. Sorry to hear it's not working out, looking forward to your next Dynasty though.
