I decided to take the mavs in my dynastiy. Here are my settings.

Superstar , 9 minutes with tweaked sliders and Andrews roster from 17th december.

FIRST GAME
Image

Yes i lost my first game, it was the showdown between the lakers and mavs in the first game. It was so close but i couldnt managed to stop the veteraned Point Guard Gary "the glove" Payton. Next Game will be @ Golden State when Jamison goes back to his old team, we will see what he brings there.

Stats Mavs - Lakers:

Lakers:
Payton 28Pts 12assists 12/28FG
Bryant 24Pts 10/22FG
O'Neal 12Pts 11reb 5/9 FG

Mavericks:
Nowitzki 21pts 8reb 9/14 FG
Walker 20pts 6reb 4assists 9/17FG
Jamison 20pts 10/20FG
Finley 14pts 7/9FG
Nash 12pts 5reb 5assists 5/15FG

My starting Lineup
C D. Fortson
PF D.Nowitzki
SF A.Walker
SG M.Finley
PG S.Nash

Jamison,Delk and Bradley on bench because then i have more opportunities from bench, otherwise my bench would suck

:)

SECOND GAME
Image

Man i cant believe we lost this game :(
The Mavs had a 10 point lead but couldnt bring it home.Nick Van Exel was
the man who killed us this time in the crunchtime. We need to defend the
point guards better. This is not a good start but lets hope we win our first
Home game

Golden State Stats:
Van Exel 32pts 11assists 10/23FG
Richardson 21pts 7/18FG
Dunleavy Jr. 17pts 7/16FG

Dallas Mavericks:
Jamison 30pts 11/17FG
Finley 22pts 11/19FG
Nowitzki 20pts 14reb 7/21FG
Walker 13pts 6/13FG
Nash 11pts 9assists 4/11FG

This time my Starting 5 was:
C Nowitzki
PF Jamison
SF Walker
SG Finley
PG Nash

But i still not found the best i think

Try Walker or Jamison coming off the bench for some quick energy. Start Danny Fortson. Also use assist or ast instead of ass when abbreviating. (Y)

It was an amazing game, the ball went to Dirk in the Crunchtime and he made the key points for the Win, it was a very defensive game u can see in the result but it made fun to play dirty D

Dallas Mavericks:

Jamison 19pts 6/9FG
Finley 16pts 8/17FG
Nash 6pts 7ast 2/8FG

My Mavs Dynasty

Postby curious101 on Mon Feb 23, 2004 6:40 am

I also use the Mavs in the Superstar difficulty setting with the default sliders. This is my starting lineup:

C: Bradley
PF: Nowtzki
SF: Walker
SG: Finley
PG: Nash

I substitute them with:

C: Scott Williams
PF: A. Jamison
SF: J. Howard
SG: M. Daniels or Josh Howard
PG: T. Best or T. Delk

I often win with these lineups. I always give the ball to Nowitzki or Finley.

I start my play with an isolation (Steve Nash holding the ball). Then when the 3-point line clears, I call for pick n' roll. Nash has a pretty good look at the rim with this setting. When he's in doubt, I pass the ball to Nowitzki, who goes for a jumpshot at the post. Sometimes, Finley does the finishing. He starts from the 3-point line. I call for pick n' roll. Then I penetrate using a spin move and a jump step. Finley finishes with a dunk!

My Dirk often gets the player of the game award with 30+ points and 10 rebounds per game.
