Press Release by Manfred Nissley, President of Tree Farm Protectors
Hello my name is Manfred Nissley, I have bought the contracts of the Players who formerly played for the Washington Wizards. I will not acquire the name of the Wizards nor will I fulfill any other obligations they may be obligated to pay for. However due to the financial mess the league is in I have given them twice what the Wizards were worth and taken the ability from the NBA to ever create a team by the Wizards or or any team within the City Limits of Washington.

In the coming weeks i will be unveiling the new Team name, Jerseys, court, and Location so stay tuned.

There will be a few other surprises as well.

I will now hand the press conference over to my lackey A. C. Green, or should I say assistant coach A.C. Green, and assistant David Robinson. I should mention that these guys are upright fellows. A.C. is a strong christian and was a virgin when he got married, which was after he retired from the nba. As you all know David Robinson is also a strong Christian and was in the military. I believe these men will guide this team of immature rascals into mature men. We will run a tight ship and any player who gets out of hand either on the court, or off of the court will be dealt with.

Press conference in early July.

Well members of the press yal have been waiting for this day. We will unveil the the team name, Jerseys and the location where we will play. The gym has yet to be built so for now we will play completely on the road for the first year!

First the location, We will be playing in the city of Christiansburg, Va. This city can already handle a sports team as the VT. Hokies play just down the road in Blacksburg.
Now for the Jerseys






Dont worry folks these Jerseys will not stay around for a long time. I hope they will be retired midway through the season.
The Green Jersey will be the home Jersey and the red will be the away Jersey

As for our name we will be called the Virginia Highlanders.
This name will be a reflection of the history of these mountains and the People in them. you may see some rather interesting designs on our jerseys.
Gilbert Areanas will be able to promote Gun safety and the use of guns now. however due to his former stupidity He will not be allowed to own a gun.
We will also promote conservation which will include promoting Safe Deer Hunting. btw folks if you go into these mountains and dont see a deer something is wrong with you. there are so many deer they starting to create genetic defects. Ie. white deer.

I am going to also announce today that I will be creating an NBDL team in Floyd, VA. They will be called the Floyd Deer!

lol this is wildly cool and any story w/the Admiral in it is definitely worth keeping an eye on

Hey folks. I have the jerseys for the most part. but i need the rest of the artwork.

What i need is art to replace the washington Wizards.

Anyone who would like to help is welcome to do so. As an added bonus each person who helps will be a top 5 draft prospect. but only two top five players in each year. Basically the first two people to help will be drafted after the first year. the next two the following year. and so on.
