Nets Continue Roller Coaster Season



The New Jersey Nets just ended their longest winning streak of the season against the Heat in a blowout and have since been continuing their loss-win pattern. This pattern that has been plaguing the Nets is showing their weaknesses. The Nets players have so far been very inconsistent in both offense and defense. This is clearly seen in the Nets embarressing loss to the Hawks 144-117 as opposed to the great defensive effort shown in their 108-101 win to the Pacers. It is very obvious that the Nets display a poor defensive effort in the first half but pick up the pace in the second half.
Offensively, this inconsistency has been costing several players their minutes. Lee is one player who has seen a big drop in his minutes due to his poor shooting following his 34 point performance against the Warriors. Instead Douglas-Roberts has been making good use of the minutes he has been given. Dooling has also been recently activated from his time as a reserve and has shot the ball well including a 33 point performance in his first game back.

Devin Harris is in great form

Ya he was actually doing better before but he is cooling down since i've been playing him less. Im sharing some of his minutes with Alston and Dooling so his assists and points have been going down.
