Nice association dude! Really love your videos, photos and recaps. Superb!
By the way, where did you got this blue Cavs alternate jersey or is this in game already?

I'm controlling all thirty teams in this association so that I can make all of the real life trades. If I was only controlling the Cavs, they would give me the stats for them, but since I'm controlling all thirty teams they only give me the stats for the home team. Confusing? I know.

I know.
He was actually shooting threes, unlike when we played the Suns in my last association. Trust me, Channing Frye shooting threes is not a good thing.

I just turn trade override on, then include myself in the deal by swapping 2nd rounders with one of the teams (then swapping the picks back)

All opponents have scored over 100 points... Very uncharacteristic of a usually solid Cleveland defence. I'm sure it's more of just your learning curve to understanding how to play defence in the actual game itself more than anything.

Lol... I think I will modify his ratings a little to make him shoot a lot of 3s.Lamrock wrote:I just turn trade override on, then include myself in the deal by swapping 2nd rounders with one of the teams (then swapping the picks back)
I do that as well...

I've thought about that, but with the ability to control all thirty teams, why go through the trouble?Its_asdf wrote:All opponents have scored over 100 points... I guess you could say that. I'm playing on Superstar, which is the second hardest difficulty in the game. If I play on All-Star, which is a step down from Superstar, I usually win every game and get bored very quickly. I guess that I just need a difficulty between those two.

You should.
It will make the game much more realistic for you.

Cavs Fall To Nuggets In Mile-High City, Lose Second Consecutive GameCLEVELAND (AP) -- The Denver Nuggets have become one of the most dominant teams in the NBA, and arguably the second best team in the Western Conference behind the Los Angeles Lakers. After trading Allen Iverson to the Detroit Pistons for Chauncey Billups last season, this team only got better and reached new heights. This trade was a failure for Detroit, but a success for Denver. The Nuggets have 3 wins and 2 losses this season. They sit at fifth place in the Western Conference Standings and are cruising. A win against a struggling Cavaliers squad is just the type of statement game they could use.
Cleveland's fourth game this season takes them a mile high to Denver, Colorado where they will pay a visit to Carmelo Anthony and his Nuggets. The Cavs were demolished by the Suns in Phoenix yesterday, and hope to end their two-game road trip on a positive note. This Nuggets team will not go down easy though. Carmelo, Chauncey Billups or J.R. Smith can drop 40 points on you on any give night. The Cavaliers are hoping to prevent that from happening though.
The Cavaliers and Nuggets went at it tonight at the Pepsi Center in Denver. With the support of their home crowd, Denver took a strong 27 to 19 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Cavs looked a little sluggish coming off of a loss last nigh in Phoenix, and could not keep up with the pace of the game. They had a good second quarter though, outscoring the Nuggets, 36 to 32. Cleveland trailed at half-time with the score being 55 to 59, Denver. The Cavs kept up with the Nuggets throughout the third quarter, but couldn't hold on in the fourth. Denver made a huge scoring run once the fourth quarter started, crushing all hope for Cleveland fans. Every NBA fan knew that tonight would be a battle between superstars LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony, and it proved to be. Anthony was the high scorer on the night with 31 points, followed by James' 30. Chauncey Billups also made a huge contribution for Denver, putting up a double-double. He tallied 29 points and 14 assists, playing virtually unstoppable. Anthony Parker had a breakout game for the Cavaliers, having a rather quiet season so far. He scored 23 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. In the end though, Cleveland lost the game with the final score being 108 to 123, Denver.Cleveland Cavaliers @ Denver Nuggets Box Score

Tough loss man. If you're playing on PC, how do you make your blog @ 2k site? I can't.

I'm playing on Xbox 360, but it should work the same as PC. What exactly are you having trouble with?

Melo and LBJ's stats are crazy. That would have been a wicked battle between the 2.

Oh man. Another loss? Well the Nuggets are tough to play. Good to see the Maynor trade in there, I did it also in my D.

Thanks for all of the comments everyone.
I just played my next game against the Nets, and only beat them 136 to 132 at home. Chris Douglas-Roberts scored forty points. The reason being is that when you play on Superstar, the computer doesn't play smarter, your players just get dragged away from the player they are supposed to be guarding. For example, when Devin Harris would bring the ball down the court to start the offense, Anthony Parker would be waiting for Devin Harris to guard him. This would leave Chris Douglas-Roberts wide open (the reason he scored forty points). Anthony Parker should have been defending Chris Douglas-Roberts because that was his matchup. I checked all of the settings and this should have not been happening. It kept going on during every one of New Jersey's possessions. It just makes the game unplayable. Here are few videos that explain the problems I'm experiencing (the videos are made by Smoove7182954).0:25 explains exactly what is happening to me. Watch 1:47 also. It shows how terrible this game really is.
This is another great video that explains the problems with playing this game on a high difficulty level.
I will be trying one more association on NBA 2K10, and if that doesn't work I will probably just take a long break from NBA 2K10. It will be on All-Star difficulty and using the Wizards. Since All-Star is easier than Superstar, I hopefully won't experience these problems anymore. I will also be making my own trades, so this association won't be based on the real NBA.
