I'd say Atlanta and Dallas.
Nice mid-season report. Top spot in the league and Wade's the top scorer! Nice accomplishments!

Thanks a lot. Hopefully, we can keep this up for the other half of the season.

Miami, Florida (AP)- The Atlanta Hawks will look to face the Miami Heat after their last meeting ended with Miami getting the victory in Atlanta. The Hawks will look to avenge that loss in Miami.
Joe Johnson was the silent player in the last meeting so look for him to spark up at any moment. Mike Bibby, needs to help his team with his veteranship. Bibby isn't a great defender so look for Bibby to guard the weakest shooter on the team for the most part. Josh Smith will need to have an almost perfect game as he will be going against a tough Michael Beasley who is having a solid rookie season. Al Horford will need to be the force down low. Look for Atlanta to go to him early to set up the perimter shooters.
"Wade and the guys got us last time at home. Now it's our turn to turn the tables and possibly get one in Miami." Johnson said before the game. "I know Miami's the top team in the league, but this is the NBA, anything can happen at any moment. I'm going into this game prepared and hopefully leaving this game a winner."
Dwyane Wade will look to lead his team in another rout of the Hawks. Wade has been the talk of the NBA as he had single handedly led this team from the worst record in the league last year, to the best NBA spot this year. Rafer Alston will need to set up his teammates a lot. He was acquired to bring a veteren point guard along side Wade. He can score, but Spoelstra wants him to be a pass first shoot last guard. Michael Beasley must have a 15+ night to be effective and Jermaine O'Neal will need to score at least 10 points and around 10 boards to have a shot at Atlanta.
"We just got to defend our home," Beasley said. "The Hawks were a tough team last time around. Josh Smith was all over the place- he's a great athlete. Our main focus this year was to play defense and I think we've done a great job of that on a number of teams. If we can play defense, then we can win any game thrown at us."

Miami, Florida (AP)- In a rematch from the 2006 NBA Finals which saw Miami winning it all, the Dallas Mavericks still have that little tick on their shoulder saying revenge! But can they get it when they enter Miami's hoem court?
For the Mavs, Dirk will play a real cruical role in how everything gets settled. If Dirk can have a an excellent shooting night then they can be a serious threat to Miami. Jason Terry will be guarding Wade which is going to be a tough task for the slim guard, however, he is quick enough to keep up with Wade and quick enough to make his own shots. Jason Kidd will need to use his wits against the tough Miami defense to dig his team out of holes. Josh Howard must have a decent all around game as he will face Beasley for the most part.
"Yeah, we still hold that 2006 Finals grudge," said Dirk, "I think we're a much better team than before and I think we have what it takes to beat Miami at home. Though nothing is certain, I have a good feeling about our chances against Miami.
On Miami's side, Wade will need exactly what he needed to beat Dallas 3 years ago; a tough minded game and a destroy the paint type of attitude. If Wade can dominate the paint against Dallas, it can really set up his perimeter shooters. Alston will be facing Kidd who is a very tricky player who has had a great season. Michael Beasley will face the unpredictable Josh Howard who can almost do anything on the floor. Haslem will be facing Dirk, however, I wouldn't be surprised to see Spoelstra switching it up so that O'Neal can guard Dirk in the paint.
"If we can stop Dirk, we can stop the rest of Mavs," Alston said, "Dirk is the vocal point of that team like Duncan is of the Spurs. If we can ruin his rhythym then we can force other players to make the plays and score the points. Haslem or O'Neal- whoever is guarding him, will do an excellent job. I have no doubts about our chances against Dallas.

Wade (above) splitting the defense for an easy layup
Miami, Florida (AP)- It seemed all was lost when Atlanta was held to a season low 9 points in the 1st quarter. However, after outscoring Miami 25-17 and 25-18 in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, we knew we had a ball game on our hands.
Despite the loss, Atlanta showed a lot of heart in the game as they even took the lead at one point after falling behing by as much as 23. Being led by Joe Johnson, the Hawks shot 38% off a 30 of 78 shooting night. They had 29 points off the bench and had 8 fast break points. The Hawks knew what they were going to get themselves into when Miami outscored them 25-9 in the first quarter.
"Wade played so well tonight, " Johnson said, "It seemed as if he was flawless in every move he made. He's just that good of player. My team did what we could, but quite frankly, we should've never been down 25-9 in the first quarter. This just shows that we have a lot of work to do if we plan on being a top team someday."
The Heat shot 43% on a 35 for 80 night. They shot a best 40% from behind the arc and had 17 steals and 8 blocks to shut out the Hawks. The team also had 14 second chance points.
"We were a bit scared at first, " Beasley said on the night, "I mean to make that kind of comeback and to eventually take the lead is something any team should be worried about if they were in this position. Luckily, our team held stuck together and just played well all around. Hopefully something like this doesn't happen again because we were pretty lucky to keep the Hawks away from our lead.

Daequon Cook (above) shooting over Jason Terry
Miami, Florida (AP)- This was a match to remember! Dirk was simply lights out from everywhere but it wasn't Wade's 29 that stopped the Mav's from a potential win, but the bench support that Wade had to take care of business.
The Mavericks shot 41% from the field on 33 of 81 shooting. 30% from behind the arc and made every free throw out of their 27 attempts. Kidd led them with 7 assists in which the Mavs had 21 total. They committed 19 turnovers all off long bomb passes that never connected and 15 fouls including one on Daequon Cook from behind the arc in which he connected and completed the 4 point play.
"They played us tough out there," Dirk said after his 34 point performance. "We tried everything we could to slow them down but their defense and offense were just too great. We were lucky to get within 3 points with the defense they were playing." In the final seconds, Kidd and DIrk both hit a crucial 3 that brought the lead down to 1, but a very a late foul on Wade left them only 1.3 seconds to score.
The Miami Heat shot 46% from the field on a 39 for 84 night. 31% from behind the arc and 78% from behidn the free throw line. What helped the Heat them mostwas there bench which scored 40 points being led by Mario Chalmers who was seeing but net on the night. Miami had 12 offensive boards and 19 steals which led to 10 fast break points on the other end.
"It was hard to stop Dirk, " Wade said, "It seemed like every time he caught the ball, we knew he was going to score. We just had to simply play much better rather than try to stop him. If he was going to score every time he touched the ball, then we were going to score on every possession. This was a great game and we were lucky to come out of this with a W when Dirk was playing as good as he was.

Actually I've lost a couple of games that I've played. I've lost against Houston with that last second shot by Dickau and to Orlando earlier in the season. So It is possible for me to lose a couple game i play.
