Player stats of your association

Postby Leander on Wed Mar 18, 2009 1:19 pm

Post some screenshots of your player stats! The recaps only show a game´s stats but not the averages of a season. :) Mine will follow soon.

Right part of stats still missing.

wow ur stats are quite good. I especially like the stat line for David Lee. But harrington geting 11.4reb/game is a little too much for me...

I even lowered Harrington's ratings. He isn't that good in real life but he just grabs those boards in my association. I think ratings are not that important but position is. The cpu misses and he is under the basket to grab the board but Lee isn't.

I restarted my association but it is the same again and again. Harrington averages 12 RPG, Lee 11 RPG. Harrington once grabbed 20 boards.

position isnt important, i got from 3 to 6 rebound by wade every night, because i control him after the missed shot, if you control you player he will jump higher and grab the rebound, i even had some which he grabbed over ocafor or tim duncan

When the cpu miss a shot I press "pass" to select a player under the basket...and press "rebound" to grab the board. Sometimes Lee does not stand directly under the basket but Harrington does so Harrington grabs more rebounds.

And position is important as PFs and Cs will grab the most rebounds regardless of their ratings. Same for NBA Live. It is a matter of positioning oneself under the basket.

i had some games with charmels leading my team in rebounding because i was controling him so i thought position isnt important, at least at my rebounding skils (or lackthereof) :D

2K9's sim engine really sucks. Aside of teams always drifting towards mediocrity, players never average enough rebounds and you get really funky things like Chauncey Billups leading the league in assists. I never thought I would say it, but NBA Live is actually more realistic in this facet.
