Nate Robinson, Bruce Bowen Fined

November, 2008[/size]

NEW YORK (AP) -- Nate Robinson from the New York Knicks and Bruce Bowen from the San Antonio Spurs will both be fined. That is the decision Mr. Stern and the League made prior to the Knicks game versus the Rockets. Players fine will be a result of their fight in the last game. The incident happened during the 4th quarter of the involved players respective teams game, when Bowen unnecessarily crashed into Robinson trying to block him. Both players then hit the floor, and little Nate took a swing at Bowen, hitting his jaw. San Antonio won 99-85.

A statement released by the league read: "Both players behaved inappropriately on the court, causing a fight. They send the wrong message to fans across the world, and will have to pay a certain amount of money as a fine"

Both teams General Managers decided not to appeal against the ban, as the players got the green light to play. Both can be extremely happy with the outcome of this drama, because they only got a cash fine. "I worked things out with Bruce, apologized to him and I hope it never happens again" -Robinson said to reporters while resting his hand on Bowen's shoulder.

New York suffers second straight defeat as the Rockets win it after OT

New York @ Houston/122-127

November, 2008

HOUSTON (AP) -- Yao Ming lead the Rockets to their 3rd straight win as they defeated the downgrading Knicks in Overtime. The game will stay remembered by the crushing 2 handed dunk by Chandler. The dunk sent T-Mac to the ground.

The Rockets were leading most of the game, mostly because Yao who led them on his shoulders with 38 points and 15 rebounds. The Center spot is proving to be a big problem, as David Lee, our current center, is way too short for that position. He couldn't guard Yao the first half, as he picked up 4 fouls. Lee eventually finished the game with 16 points and 11 boards. The key to success for Houston was their high shooting percentage. They shot 57 percent from the field, and 42 from beyond the arc.Tracy McGrady scored 17 of his 22 points in the second half, helping Yao to lead the Rockets to the win. But it wasn't all that simple. In the fourth quarter the Knicks role players woke up. Danilo Gallinari scored the teams last 9 points as he gave them the lead 111-96 in the 4th several minutes before the end. But Yao sparked the Rockets as tehy then went on a 13-0 run, being behind just by 2 points 2 seconds before the end. As the Rockets had the inbounds (timeout) in offense, all players were trying to keep Yao away from the basket, they tried so much that they have forgotten about Carl Landry who sneaked past the defense and hit the open layup with 0.6 left on the clock to send the game to Overtime.

In Overtime, Shane Battier lead the Rockets to their 6th win of the season, as he scored a total of 20 points in the whole game. "It was a very tough game, if we didn't have Yao, I doubt we would win"- Shane said. The Knicks have a lot of things to worry about as they travel to Dallas, to try and stop the 7-foot sharpshooter Dirk Nowitzki.

Getting G-Force and athletic freak of nature and great perimeter Defense for fat Eddy Curry was a steal...nice one. Also like seeing Marbury involved with the team. Atta boy Nate...get down and dirty. Lucky not to get a suspension like Randolph did for punchin that suns player couple nights ago.
