the raptors facing off against the nets turned out to be
quite the nail biter.
the game started out much like the previous one,
as devin harris got 2 quick fouls running into
well setup defenders. a bit later in the game
it turned out how important this was, as harris
was proving to be too quick for either calderon or
hinrich to defend. often his drives drew the double
team which lead to open looks for his team mates.
meanwhile carter and bosh were having a dunk off,
with one more outragious dunk after the other.
bosh might not get dunk of the night, but
he and his team did manage to hold on to a lead
gained only minutes before the final buzzer sounded.
the 3 point shooting this game was again abysmal,
with both teams shooting only 10% from behind
the arc. the reason for this was most likely that
it was quite a physical battle with plenty of trips
to the free throw line, with the raps shooting 11-11
and the nets adding their 21-24.
player of the game was chris bosh with a wonderful performance.
he had 34 points in as many minutes, 8 rebounds and 4 assists.

high man for the nets was the nearly unstoppable devin harris
with 27, shooting 10-22 from the field.
brooke lopez did his part by recording a double double
with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

this victory takes to raptors to a 9-2 record and a shared first place
of the division together with the new york knicks, who are having
an excellent season as well. trailing behind these two are the boston
celtics, who have won 1 game more and lost 1 more as well.
