Pistons trade Jose Calderon to Cavaliers, Cavs sign Oden



Cavaliers GM was busy this off-season with shaping roster for 2012/2013 season. Reportedly he traded for spanish Floor General Jose Calderon and signed injury prone big-man Greg Oden.

Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski dishes the jaw-dropping news for Cavs Nation.



Chris Broussard reports that Greg Oden was signed to 1 year guaranteed contract worth 2.51 million dollars.

Cavs looking to add low post presence



Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that Cavaliers are looking to trade for Carlos Boozer to add more low post presence on the offense. Bulls are reportedly asking for Varejao + 1st round pick.

But it's highly unlikely that Cavs will want to give up one of the best rebounders, though injury prone, and a lottery pick for overpaid Boozer. They are looking to unload Walton's bad contract with a big men, most probably Anderson Varejao.

Cavs' GM Chris Grant has also contacted Utah Jazz for a possible acquisition of Al Jefferson. But they want both Irving and Varejao for Jefferson and a filler.

They also contacted LA Lakers and Mitch Kupchak regarding acquisiton of Pau Gasol. Lakers being Lakers are looking 2014 unprotected 1st round pick, Calderon and Thompson for Gasol and Sacre.

Next few weeks will be interesting to follow regarding this topic as Cavs are looking to trade for assets, unlike last few years when LeBron was in the town.
