Philadelphia looking to make impact

Philadelphia, PA. -- The 76ers are the heart of Philadelphia, but ever since losing one of the best scorers in the league in Allen Iverson, Philly has struggled to find an identity. Philadelphia has a core of offensive and defensive players, but have yet to commit to either side.

Coach Doug Collins has stressed the need of a defensive approaching, stating " We need to rely on our defensive abilities" Collins continued, "We need to use our strengths because we have good players on the defensive end like Iggy."

Collins figures they have a better chance stopping than scoring; and the players are emotionally invested in the system. The sounds of basketballs being shot, slapped, and dunked echo throughout the training facility, anticipating the hope and joy of a new season.
