QUestion?.Bobcats,

Tue Dec 06, 2011 7:05 pm

Hey i have in my bobcats : Kemba walker.Jamal Crawford.Corey Maggete.Tyrus Thomas.Bismack Biyombo. (Starting 5)

I am in 20 november .and Biyombo has reached Overall 75 from 69. Is that good or its overrated?. Also what do you think in adding Jamal Crawford to my team?.(released Henderson) .

That thread would be your best bet for questions like this.

I don't quite understand what you are asking about Biyombo, to me he has developed really well, thats very promising.
About Crawford, I think he is a great addition, but don't know why you had to release Henderson who has some potential.
I would also look at making Crawford your 6th man and bringing in a more defensive minded SG, not a lot of back court defence there.

Releasing Henderson was definitely a bad idea. You should have been able to trade Henderson for a solid player without a problem. He's good on both ends on the floor, and he's really athletic. If he develops a three-point shot, there's a good chance he could be a #1 or #2 option on offense.

The only problem I have with your lineup is that it is undersized. While that is likely to be the case for the real life Bobcats, I see Biyombo as a power forward and in 2k, it shouldn't be that hard to bring in a legit center. I think your best shot is to flip Crawford and a draft pick for a good center. The Bobcats are likely going to play Augustin and Walker in the same backcourt (yes I know that would be undersized), and I actually can't wait to see how that turns out. Augustin is great in 2k and shouldn't be buried in your bench like he was under Larry Brown.

This is what I can see happening (since you've already gotten rid of Henderson- bad idea, but I like the addition of Crawford):

-starting lineup of: Augustin | Walker | Maggette | Thomas | the center you could get from trading Crawford (best case scenario would be Nene or Tyson Chandler or someone, but it's more likely it ends up being someone like Brendan Haywood or Chris Kaman, which still is a significant upgrade over the Bobcats' previous center)
-bench made up of: Diaw | Biyombo | trade off most of the remaining scrubs for expiring deals, draft picks, or young talent

Hope this helps.

Hey man i really like your mind and what you gave me its just amazing. But i want to start bismack biyombo just for becoming better each night.i totally agree with you and that really helped me.i brought Chandler. ( 72 overall right now).Biyombo is age 19 and he is 75(from 69.) So isnt that good to start biyombo?.
Also he may be small for C pos but his strenght quickness and vertical helps him on offense and defense, and his potential is good to become better from training, games, and the coming summer. So what are you suggesting to me?.Start Chandler or Biyombo?.(Thanks for your opinion.helped me.)

Chandler's only a 72? Damn 2k. He should be closer to an 80. Start Biyombo then.

I start him xD. And i disaggre that chandler should be near 80. His defense skills, rebounding are good but if he goes to a team without kidd he wouldn't be that good in scoring :P. Also i think that he need to be quicker to his moves and move faster in the court.(transition, etc)
