Pre-Season Match


Miami vs. Orlando
Hello and welcome to my first match recap of the year, even if it only a recap of a very early pre-season game, I travelled to London this week to give you this recap. The stadium was packed, around 27 thousand filled the seats and it seemed like they were all going for Miami and I think that support helped them get by a tough Orlando Magic. Both teams had a full strength side in, and both played as if it was a proper season match.
The game was pretty tight the whole way through the game with the biggest lead of the game coming at half time with a 5 point lead for the Magic, 37-32, the first half saw just 4 points by Wade and only 2 by Beasley with most of the scoring coming through Chalmers and O’Neal with 10 and 8 respectively. It’s not that ours truly D.Wade played badly it was just the Magic defense just shut down Wade every time he got the ball, double teaming him as soon as possible that giving Wade 3 assists for the half but also 2 turnovers.
The 2nd half was a bit more free-flowing then the 1st and it showed as Wade put on 12 in the third to help put them 1 in front at the break, he was helped in the quarter by Anthony and Haslem. The forth started out how the third finished with the Heat on a roll but they could not hold on to the win as a gallant Orlando who were down Howard in the dying minute as he was fouled out late in the game, sealed the win with a late three by Vince Carter.

Other Notes:
Udonis Haslem had a run in with Dwight Howard late in the third where the two had to be separated by the officials, as Udonis was trying to get under Dwight’s skin and must of hit a nerve. Look out for these two come the regular season as I think Dwight might want some pay back.

I won't be doing a re-cap like the one above for most of the first season as I don't have enough time during school and other stuff so it will be just box scores etc. And then every month it will have the standings and monthly awards etc.
