Minnesota Timberwolves - From Rebuilding to Rings

Sat Oct 24, 2009 7:58 pm

[Hello all, I once had a dynasty here but my sister deleted the save and I never got around to telling evryone  This is just a dynasty about the Minnesota Timberwolves 08-09 season on the default NBA Live 09 data. I'm playing on PS2 so don't expect any screenshots, sorry. There will also be the 2008 draft for anyone that cares.]

New Head Coach Chazz was extremely happy with the 3rd Draft Pick, as he decided to not cut any players and go in with just one open spot. Instead of looking for the much needed Big Man, Chazz took a gamble and went with O.J Mayo as the newest aquisition to the Rebuilding T'Wolves.

DYNASTY SETTINGS

Simulation Quarters: 12 Minutes
Diffuculty: All Star
Season Length: 82 Games

KEY PLAYERS

PF - A. Jefferson (72)
SF - C. Brewer (71)
SG - OJ Mayo (76)

SEASON PREVIEW

After a dismal 07-08 season, the Minnesota Timberwolves is seeing a new wave of players emerging. The likes of Al Jefferson and Randy Foye are replacing such stars such as Kevin Garnett and Sam Cassell. Rookie OJ Mayo is looking to have a huge year after being the third overall draft pick. Rashad McCants will back him up and Mike Miller will just do his thing. Corey Brewer is also looking forward to a huge year after claims there is a chance for him to be an All-Star. Head Coach Chazz was a great coach in his home-land Australia, coaching the Sydney Kings to success. Nonetheless, I suppose we'll all just have to wait and see if the so-called 'New-Wave' shakes things up at Minnesota.

Everybody and their dog has a Wolves dynasty nowadays, and I don't blame them. They are a very enticing team. Like the Nets but with hideous jerseys and no big free agents in 2010.
