Dynasty/Association of the Year - Final results!!!

Well, we did it in '07 and '08, so let's continue.

This year, there will be two categories - Live and 2K. The voting system will be pretty much the same as last year.

* Votes will be sent to me via PM.
* You can vote for any active dynasty/association. Last update at least within the last 6 months.

* You can vote for three dynasties/associations, with point distribution as follows :

1st : 5 points
2nd : 2 points
3rd : 1 points

* You can't vote for your own dynasty/association.
* Voting ends Oct. 25

Example :

Live Dynasties :

1st : A's Hawks (5 points.)
2nd : B's Celtics (2 points.)
3rd : C's Bobcats (1 points.)

2K Associations :

1st : A's Hawks (5 points.)
2nd : B's Celtics (2 points.)
3rd : C's Bobcats (1 points.)

Get voting.

NOTE: You can also vote for just category, if you don't follow the other as much.

We did it in 2006, but the thread was somehow lost. Good idea, though aside of your dynasty, the Live section was nothing to write home about. I think you should just merge the two games. Anyway, I'll send in my votes momentarily.

Any way we could implement that Marrti? Maybe after you release the results, you can get the top 3-4 vote getters of each category and we can have a final ballot. Will make things interesting!

I'm sure it would pan out like:

Would be interesting to see how me and thierry's short-lived dynasties do though.

Would still be interesting, I'm sure there are a few Live contenders... 2K9 werent so shabby either. Mines is overrated only because its been going on and off for a year lol

Didn't know homicide's Cavs counted since 90% of it was done during the 08 era. Nonetheless a very well-deserved victory. Amazing commitment there. Last year I disqualified anubisak's, as most of his dynasty was during the 2007 era, along with Andrew, but in hindsight that was a terrible decision.

Sit winning 2K division is a no brainer - presumably taking it unanimously. Thanks to all who gave me the second prize for 2K associations - especially since it only went for a month and a half (though its starting again). Additionally happy that someone remembers my Raptors association.

Really glad you are doing an overall vote as well, since there aren't enough juggernauts in each individual division to make it an interesting vote. Since I have an association in the top 3 of a division, should I just post a top 5?

Martti, you should prob post this in the Live thread as well.

I want to know why Im not in the dynasties to vote for. It´s not the first time I got cut. Why is that? Can you help me thanks

Last year the system was in effect to prevent Andrew from winning for a dynasty primarily based around the 2005-06 season. I disqualified yours under the same basis. It was a poor judgement call that I apologize for. Can't say I'm aware of what happened this year.
