The San Antonio Spurs started as the Dallas Chapparals in the American Basketball Association in 1967. Their recent NBA Championship win, their fourth in eight years solidified this current team led by Tim Duncan as a dynasty. The Spurs are one of four former American Basketball Association teams (along with the Nets, Pacers, and Nuggets) to remain intact in the NBA after the 1976 ABA-NBA merger and is the only former ABA team to have won an NBA championship, which they have done four times. As of July 2008, the Spurs rank third among active franchises for the highest winning percentage in NBA history. With the 2007 sweep, the Spurs have the second highest winning percentage in NBA Finals history. They have only missed the playoffs 4 times as an NBA franchise.

In their 32 NBA seasons, since 1976–1977, the Spurs have captured 15 division titles, which gives the Spurs the most division titles in the NBA during that 32-year span (the Lakers are second with 14). They have made the playoffs in 19 of the last 20 seasons, and have not missed the playoffs in the 12 seasons since Tim Duncan came to the Spurs in 1997.

Lol yeah but I found another way to make the recaps, it's faster and this way I will be able to fulfill my original plan of posting 1 game each day, so the season will be over in more or less, 3 months.

gd luck with this one, i dont like the spurs at all but if you can get rid of Bowen, Bonner, Finley, Thomas, Mason i'll like them...especially Bowen

Thanks man. I'm gonna be honest... Bowen, I know he's old, but I'll keep him because he's a great defender; Finley, I always liked him; about the rest, anyone can go... I might trade Thomas for a younger F-C.

Thanks They are my favourite team as well, but never used them in a dynasty/association because it was a team with its core already established, I don't mind now

Lol thanks bro. That's one of the goals, make an interesting team... I know everyone's gonna laugh about this but if everything goes well I will go at least 2 seasons.

Thanks man, gonna play the game tomorrow. Everything about the dynasty will be posted in the website layout, so I'm needing some comments or suggestions about it

suggestions?,how about cleaner cuts on Duncan,Ginobili and Parker ,good luck with the suns
