[Live 08]SG Jelly Fish #15 - Rookie Phenom?

Alright: This will be a dynasty where i play with position lock, and only control my created player, Jelly Fish. When he is subbed out, i will let CPU play vs. CPU, and once he gets subbed in, i again just control him. This will go quite slowly, and it will probably take months to finish a season, but i will give detailed updates about every game. The story will be told from the perspective of the media, and i hope you like it......

I have found that the new Albys realistic roster is amazing, and is suited great for playing SG with position lock. I have played some practice games, and there isnt much difference in the gameplay when you play CPUvsCPU, and so far it has felt really realistic. The CPU vs CPU gameplay is so realistic, that it doesnt even bother me if im gonna sit on the bench for half the games, and i think this will be fun....

i have to say that i enjoyed that game a lot.....i may have to tweak my stamina rating a bit, because i played too many minutes, but otherwise its perfect. I was a bit shoot-happy in the first half and tried to do too much myself, but in the second i got it going and i think i had 3 assists in the 3rd and 4th. I hit a three, and made some shots on quick breaks, but other than that my shooting was a bit off, so 20 points is really good. However, as i said, i played almost the full game, so i have to tweak my stamina so that i get subbed out more, and for longer times. My overall is at 79, and i think its quite good, because i cant just hog the ball and score 40 every night. I think i will be able to score around 20-25/game though, so Jelly Fish is definitely gonna be a star. Have to take better care of the ball though, and also lay back on my drives inside, because my guy doesnt seem to be the most athletic and i missed a lot of lay-ups when i tried to force it inside. The gameplay is awesome, because the other players seem to be able to run the game without me needing to touch the ball on every play, so it really has a more realistic feel than the previous times ive tried position lock. Im not using the "force pass" button at all, as the players pass to me enough when im open, and therefore its really nice, as i really just control my guy
I think im really gonna love this dynasty.....

Okay, apparently you cant save the team stats in exhibition games, so these preseason games will have fairly condensed reports.....

Okay, now ive determined that the gameplay is realistic across the board, and there is no need to play preseason games anymore..... I will start the regular season tomorrow, and then the REAL action can start. Its actually pretty hard to dominate it seems, so its nice that i can give it my best shot, and still not be unrealistically good. And my defensive discipline is quite weak, so that needs to be worked on. I lowered my stamina somewhat, and in the last game i was satisfied with my minutes. Im getting around 66% of the minutes, and that sounds good. It really feels nice to play this way, as the AI is good enough, and its really feels like you are just one part of the team, instead of dominating all by yourself. I was actually really conservative in my last game, and i only had 7 shot attempts. In my first game i shot like 25 times! So, im gonna need to find a balance with that, and also avoid taking stupid shots, and making stupid turnovers.

My aim is to get around 20-25 points/game, but it can prove to be hard. So, tomorrow i will start the season, now i need some rest.....
