Unrealistic Gaming?

Does anyone else find that, despite having very accurate sliders, their games tend to be too high-scoring? When I CPU the games, my sliders work perfectly and I have realistic stats all around the board. But when I play I can easily get 40+ points in a quarter playing on Superstar with tough sliders. This would be the Playstation 2 version of Live 07, by the way.
