2006 Season---After being swept by the Miami Heat in the regular season, the Chicago Bulls turned the tables on the Heat by sweeping them in four games to advance to the second round of the playoffs where they would face off against the hated Philadelphia 76ers and Allen Iverson. Unfortunatly, the sweep meant almost nada as they were erased 4-2. Once Chicago was eliminated, the 76ers stood face-to-face, toe-to-toe with the only real test they would receive, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, a team looking to repeat. As fate would have it though, King James worked over the 76ers beating them 4-3 and moved into the NBA Finals where they would eventually lose out to the Pheonix Suns in seven games.

Ferocious dunker, can run up and down floor all night with great speed for a center.  Look for Nieto, whom prefers "Shawn", to be involved in the All-Star Weekend for the Slam Dunk contest, if not this season, then seasons afterwards.  Excellent potential but could seriously do some work on his scoring in the paint as dunks will only get you so far in this league.  See Gerald Green.

ChiFan, it's been a while.
Nice to see your Bulls dynasty back.

Why did you left your last Bulls dynasty, it was pretty amazing. Well seems like another good one here, good luck!

It's actually the same dynasty. I got too involved with my life outside of this dynasty, which really sucks , and instead of slowing down, I finished the season.

Now that I have a hang of how I want to do the reporting, I decided to start up a brand new thread dedicated to Season 2 and Beyond. I'm going to link back to the other thread though. I have plans to slow down this dynasty. Sometimes I have so much fun playing one game that I'll want to play another or I'll be fuming after blowing a loss that I'll want to play another just to seek out vengence on some poor unsuspecting opponent.

Glad to see you all liked it though. That's encouraging. I love when I receive feedback. Makes it all the more fun to do.

Slow Starting Bulls Rally in Second Half, 93-90
Gasol and Duhon take charge, lead the rally



(AP) In front of a crowd that amassed over 17,000 Charlotte Bobcat fans, the Bulls' Chris Duhon and Pau Gasol took charge of a second-half come-from-behind victory to upset the fast paced Charlotte Bobcats. While the Bobcats' Gerald Wallace and Adam Morrison did everything they could do to stymie the Bulls fast second-half start, the blame fell on guard Raymond Felton and PF's Emeka Okeafor and Anderson Varejao for their inability to stop Duhon and Gasol from taking over.

Deciding Factor
Chicago's Pau Gasol backing down Varejao into the paint with ease, forcing Gerald Wallace to leave Jason Kapono alone, allowing Gasol to give an assist out to Kapono as he dropped an easy three from beyond the arc to put the Bulls up 91-88 with less than 30 seconds on the clock. Ben Gordon would go on to give the Bulls their final field goal giving them a five point lead before Varejao dropped in a deuce after grabbing an offensive board.

well, I'm going to need luck because I screwed my franchise over. I had a Simulation Chise going at the same time and for some odd reason I accidently saved over my playable franchise. I think I may have gotten in a hurry last night when I was saving and didn't realize I did it.

Anyways, now it looks like I have to start all over which means I now need to re-discover my slider set so I may actually just hold off until the Bulls make their pick in this upcoming draft. I may actually just opt to buy the new NBA Live if they make it for the PC again and if it's any better.

Until then, I'll just run my simulation chise.
