I had to stop my other dynasty because my hard drive died and I couldn't get my save. Anyways I'm planning to make this one different from my last one, got some great ideas from Mark's Magic Dynasty. I'll be simming most of the time, but I'll play one game every week. The recaps are going to be weekly. So let's see how this one works out.

good start, shame about your other one though...that was real good. Make this one just as.

This is looking nice
Very clearly set out. Im ashamed to admit that I cant recall your previous Dynasty (I havent been that active in the dynasty section recently) but if its as good as this I will have to check it out.
You got a nice budget for staff and managed to pick up some good recruits.
Your giving your starters quite a lot of minutes, IMO J.R. should possibly be getting less..
Good luck with this anyway, hopefully you dont have any technical problems
P.S. both your depth charts have are labeled "Starters" I assume one is meant to be "Playing Time" or "Rotation"
Fri Jan 26, 2007 7:52 pm
pacers4eva - Thanks. I'll try to make this one better.
Mark. - You can find my other dynasty
here. Thanks for pointing out that depth chart mistake. And yes, J.R. should get less time because he has a poor stamina rating and he is usually the first one I sub out. I've redone the rotation now. Didn't change 'Melo's % because I want his to get his 40+ minutes

New York (1-3) 84:106 Denver (1-1) | Simmed | Boxscores
DENVER, Nov 8 -- The Nuggets started to build their lead early on. They had an 18 point lead after the first half. New York didn't catch up as everyone played poorly except C. Frye who had 15 points and 14 boards. Marcus Camby had a team high in points again with 28. It seems that he has taken over the scorer role for the team. All the starters played well for the Nuggets and that's why the won by so much.

Good Defense Wins It For The Nuggets
Camby was hot again with 26 points and 9 boards.

PHILADELPHIA, Nov 10 -- W. Green, listed with a playable injury, scored 20 points, A. Iguodala had 17 and R. Carney chipped in 12 from the bench. No-one else scored more than 10 points as the Nuggets played excellent defence. Only a few open shots and no easy layups resulted in a 39 % field goals for the Philly. 'Melo had another double-double but coach Karl said that Anthony and Iverson should score a lot more. Luckily Camby had a near 30 point night again and K. Martin seems to be fully recovered from that earlier injury as he posted 19 points and 9 rebounds. Denver gets their second 20+ point win straight.

Week 4 Recap (Nov 19 - Nov 26)
Game 9 - Nov 21, 2006: vs Chicago Bulls (2-8)
Nuggets Shut Down Bulls
J.R. Smith slams one over Ben Gordon
Chicago 93:107 Denver | Played Game | Boxscores
DENVER, Nov 21 -- It was crucial for the Nuggets to shut down Ben Gordon and Kirk Hinrich. That way the Bulls would have no-one stepping up in the clutch situations. And that's what the Nuggets did - Gordon and Hinrich combined for only 19 points.
Denver started slow. A.I was missing shots and didn't distribute the ball. The whole offense was terrible. So coach Karl took Iverson off the court and Steve Blake got a chance to shine. It seems Karl has a lot of confidence towards Blake who had 17 points and 11 assists in the game against Toronto. Blake had 7 points in the contest but was only 1-of-7 from the field. Iverson returned later in the first period and knocked down two threes. Nuggets made a 8-0 run and The Answer finished the period with 15 points. The Nuggets held a 9 point lead after one quarter.
Denver extended their lead to 15 after the first half. Carmelo scored 9 and J.R. 7 in the period. Hinrich and Gordon had 8 points total from 4-of-17 shooting.
The Nuggets were able to get a 20 point lead at the start of the third quarter. Luol Deng scored 6 in a row and 10 in the period as the Bulls cut the deficit to 12 before the last quarter.
In the fourth, the Bulls were able to come within 4 and it was a whole new basketball game all over. Denver played great defense after that and Carmelo and A.I managed to lead the Nuggets to a 14 point win.
Player Of The Game
A. Iverson (DEN) | 30 points | 3 assists | 1 steal | 12-29 FG (41.4%) | 31 minutes
Game notes
Both teams shot a dismal ~35% from the field
A total of 141 rebounds (38 offensive) were grabbed
Bulls had only 9 assists in the contest
Game 10 - Nov 22, 2006: @ Golden State (7-4)Richardson, Davis Too Much For Nuggets
Baron Davis had 30 points and 9 assists (He didn't complete the dunk over 'Melo)
Denver 88:97 Golden State | Simmed Game | Boxscores
GOLDEN STATE, Nov 22 -- After winning the first quarter by a point the Nuggets fell. Davis and Richardson were too much for them to handle as they combined for 58 points - more that half of the teams. During the second and third period the Warriors built a 23 points lead witch insured them a win. Denver didn't give up without a fight though, they held the Warriors to only 9 points in the final quarter and narrowed the deficit to 9 points. Denver will have a chance for a revenge in two days as they will host the GS Warriors.
Game notes
Warriors shot better from the field but the Nuggets had the advantage from the charity stripe.
Nuggets bench combined for only 9 points
The former Pacers combined for 14 points
The Warriors were 10-25 (40%) from 'down town'
Game 11 - Nov 24, 2006: vs Golden State (8-4)Nuggets Take Revenge
Carmelo had 32 points, 13 boards and 6 assists (He made the dunk and got fouled)
Golden State 88:103 Denver | Simmed Game | Boxscores
DENVER, Nov 24 -- After losing to the Warriors two days ago the Nuggets take revenge winning Golden State at home. The Nuggets were trailing after the half but quickly built a 5 points lead before winning by 15. 'Melo had a great night and was supported by Camby (28 points, 11 boards, 6 assist) and Iverson (24 points, 6 assists and 4 steals). J-Rich and Davis combined for 46 but were unable to stop the Nuggets.
Game notes
Denver didn't get much support from the bench - only 7 points
Warriors were 10-22 (45.5%) from 'down town'

I do like the new format.
You might just want to correct your first post as you have some guy named 'Averson' on your team which really doesn't intimidate opponents as the name 'Iverson' does.
Keep it up, it's a really well done dynasty!

Cassell, Mobley, Maggette and Brand all scored more than 20 points but it didn't give them the win. 'Melo and A.I worked perfectly together to overcome more than 80 points from the Clippers starters to seal a precious two point win.

DENVER, Nov 28 -- Memphis played without Stromile Swift and Mike Miller who are both injured. The Nuggets were in full health and the clear favorites. Gasol has been playing very good this season but a one-man-show is a no-go against Denver Nuggets. At least that's what everyone thought. Pau posted more than 40 points as the Grizzlies took an 8 point win over the Nuggets.

Week 6 Preview
Tue Jan 30, 2007 7:01 am
No boxscores for games against Clippers and Grizzlies because I messed something up with Fraps. Anyway before week 6 I'm going to make a November recap so stay tuned.
I'm also thinking of making some trades to improve the roster. I'm willing to trade Najera, Kleiza, Evans, DerMarr and Diawara. I'm looking for a PF (was thinking about P. Millsap since the Jazz are gone trade him anyways) and a SF or SG who could score (I wanted to sign FA V. Lenard but he refused the minimum contract and want's more money). So any suggestions are welcome.
PS. No unrealistic trades please.

Hey Basic, nice recap, shame about the missing box scores, but life goes on.
I suggest looking into Matt Carroll (CHA), Jason Kopono (MIA), James Jones (PHX) or Quentin Richardson (NY) for your desired SG/SF scoring slot.
As for a possible PF to trade for, I suggest examining Nick Collison (SEA), Mike Sweetney (CHI), Pape Sow (TOR) or Scott Padgett (HOU).
Personally, I'd aim at acquiring Padgett who gives you an outside-shooting big man who Houston would be willing to part with; he could also shift over to small forward though in either position he'd be a defensive liability either because he's not strong enough (4) or because he's too slow (3).
Hope my suggestions were at the very least entertainable.
