Well here's my attempt at doing a long winded Association. First just a heads up so you know what to expect:

- Graphics are going to be minimal as I don't have the competency or the time at the moment.
-Rosters will be set from 18/01/2007 and will include a few rookie CAPs to substitute players that aren't in the game.
-Still working out a good feel for the game, so sliders aren't set just yet.
-Was considering playing with current injuries, but it would be hard to know when players should return, so only Bobby Simmons will be on the inactive list as he is out for the year.

The Bucks are a nice team to work with, they got a good lineup but the bench needs improvement the most. You got a good nucleus to work with in two young guys CV and Bogut a prolific scorer in Redd and two solid players who can do their job in Patterson and Williams, but i would look to get a good pass first PG instead of Williams.

It's like you read my mind. Bogut will be a focal point on offense and Stott's position is under a lot of scrutiny. Basically being a Bucks fan in real life he cops the brunt of my dissatisfaction of the teams guard orientated offense and the poor bench rotations. So he may be gone in the very near future.

Can't wait for this one to start. I almost did the Bucks for mine, but I hate Bogut. Post pics if you can, good luck!

I will post some pics when I get my new Macbook, yet that may be a while depending on my finances.

I am most likely going to play an 82 game season, simming about half.

GM Ty brings about change.
20/10/06 ESPN

New Bucks GM Ty has announced swift changes to the club. Only days after signing a 3 year contract as the President of Basketball Operations for the Milwaukee franchise, Ty has sacked coach Terry Stotts. This decision was aired earlier today at a press conference at the teams training facility. Ty stated that "Terry had performed admirably in his season with the team, yet the change in team direction for the upcoming season required a changing of the guard." The remainder of Stott's contract will be paid out by the team.

GM Ty and Senator Kohl were present at the press conference, and were elated to announce the new Head Coach. Ralph Jordan has signed a 6 year deal with the team for a undisclosed amount. After several successful seasons in Europe, Jordan was offered the position and accepted. Renown for his focus on defense and teaching abilities he will be a welcome fit into the club. GM Ty is hoping the Bucks can keep their high octane offense running while improving at the other end.

Team Co-Captains Michael Redd, Andrew Bogut and Mo Williams strongly supported the move. While they appreciated the work of coach Stott's, they are excited to work with Mr. Jordan. Bogut announced that "this move could shift the team from a borderline playoff team to an up and coming contender."

While no further changes are expected in the near future, GM Ty has stated that he will continue to pursue measures in the best interest of the team and their supporters. If anything, this will to cut down on salaries in order to stay under the cap for the 2007 FA market; where the Bucks have some key players to resign such as Mo Williams and Charlie Bell.

Q1:
The Pistons started with an early 15-3 run looking like the dominant team of the prior season. This run slowed significantly after Wallace was benched after 2 early fouls, marking the debut of C-Webb for Detroit. At the end of the first the score stood at 17-20 in Detroits favour.

Q2:
Early in the second young Turkish star Ersan Ilyasova twisted his knee driving to the hoop. While the injury looked severe at the time it was later diagnosed as a minor sprain. The Bucks came out double teaming Billups who was hot from the outset. This failed to slow down the Pistons who had run after run, with Billups, Wallace and Prince shooting amazingly. At the half the score was MIL 32 v DET 53.

Q3:
Bucks form and shooting turned around early, with Redd and CV31 hitting some big shots. As a result team picked up on the defensive end, creating some turnovers. Coach Jordan looked greatly relieved with the improved display, not to mention GM Ty who was coping some heated looks from the fans. Score: MIL 57 v DET 76

Q4:
The fourth Q began with an early Bucks run. Redd ignited, hitting several big shots - none bigger than a fast break corner 3. The lead was cut to 10 with 3 minutes remaining. The Bucks scored 33 points in the last quarter, but it was not enough to get the W tonight.

Sacking the coach is a great feature. means you can get a nice upgrade in their teaching, which helps development. having such a young team this is a big plus. Furthermore, being a big Bucks fan I have little faith in Stott's.

About trades, I'm not too sure. Thinking about moving Boykins and either Gadzuric or Skinner. I just find Boykins too weak defensively, and would rather play Charlie Bell at both guard spots off the bench. Skinner is in a contract year and one year older than Gadz. He plays well but his lack of height can hurt against bigger centres, especially at the boards and in the post. Might end up keeping both Gadz and Skinner, play them according to match ups, and try and trade Boykins for a versatile combo guard or a solid PF. But nothing is certain just yet, might begin to like Earl with more games expected soon.

Bucks started out hot with an 11-2 run. CV and Redd were electric, with Charlie V showing Toronto his real value. The Bucks defense was overpowering the raptors, forcing them to put up some very poor shots and cause some unnecessary turnovers. Redd dropped 9 in the first, including a big corner 3. Score: MIL 21 TOR 11

Q2:
Sloppy ball handling and passing by the Bucks cost them heavily in the second. This sparked a 13-5 run for the Raptors who closed the gap. TJ Ford started to hit some shots and led the Raptors at the half. Andrew Bogut stepped up BIG in this term, putting the side on his shoulders. His efforts managed to keep them the lead at the half. Score: MIL 38 TOR 37.

Both teams went shot for shot in the 3rd, with some key players stepping up. For Toronto Ford and Bargnani hit their shots, Bosh was solid on the boards and Fred Jones provided a spark off the bench scoring some quick buckets. The Bucks continued their consistent offensive performance with Redd stepping up to help Bogut. Ilyasova hit a few big jumpers. Score: MIL 59 TOR 57

Q4:
Second straight game where the Bucks have had big last quarters. Starting with a 10-2 burst, the lead opened to a comfortable margin. Fred Jones was unstoppable for the Raptors, getting inside and finishing on numerous occasions. But it was not enough the close the gap, with CV31 hitting a big three to solidify the win in front of his old fans. Both CV and Ford played very good games, as did Bogut and Redd for Milwaukee, and Jones and Bargnani for Toronto.

New Bucks GM happy with seasons start.

After the opening two games of the season Bucks GM Ty has spoken to the local media at a post match interview. Answering a variety of questions he stated he has been pleased with the teams early play. He particularly pointed out Villanueva, commenting on his "consistency and rebounding effort", not too mention his "superb shooting stroke and how well he has complemented both Andrew [Bogut] and Michael [Redd]". Ty seemed very please with Coach Jordan's early efforts, saying "the improvement on defense tonight is a result of his efforts, and hopefully becomes a characteristic of the team".

Ty said he believed "Bogut played his best game tonight" after his "totally dominant performance in the 3rd and constant effort on the boards". He has also praised Redd for his efforts to include the frontcourt in the offensive scheme while continuing to play well.

When questioned about Mo Williams poor performance Ty said "Mo will get the hang of Coach's new offensive sets soon, and says it's far to early to judge him." But he did say he hopes he picks up the assist numbers. Ersan Ilyasova's name was mentioned with the GM stating that "this kid has a very bright future and will continue to get minutes at the 3 and 4 spots if he plays well."

Questioned about the possibility of trades, he said nothing was out of the realm of possibility. He hinted that the current starting line-up is untouchable as well as some of the young bench players with potential. Insiders believe Earl Boykins and Brian Skinner may be on the block to see what value they can return. Ty insisted nothing was inevitable, but he is hoping to cut back on salary so he can resign Mo Williams and Charlie Bell next summer.

Yeah Harris would be nice, but realistically it would cost to much to trade for him and he would be stuck on the bench. I'm looking to play Bell at the point off the bench, using his height and defensive skill to my advantage. I was thinking about Willie Green, something along the lines of Skinner, Boykins and a 2nd for Green and Hunter. That would sure up the extra guard spot on the bench and provide a 5/4 in Hunter who can rebound and defend. Problem is Hunter is very similar to Gadzuric, as in one-dimensional. Just an idea at this stage...

Nice Dynasty so far! Boykins gets frustrating in this game because of his height i think you need a backup 2 guard or are you playing Patterson at the 2 and 3?? maybe someone like Marquis Daniels or something could be a good trade.

GM Ty's Trade says future is now.

After the victory against the Raptors came further good news for Bucks fans. Bucks GM Ty has approved a trade between the team and the Pacers. The trade outlined below is a major move to bring the team into playoff contention.

Milwaukee sent Earl Boykins, Brian Skinner and their 2007 1st Round Pick to Indiana. In return they gained combo guard Marquis Daniels and young PF/C Ike Diogu. Ty commented that "while having to give a up 1st was hard, the team has already built a solid young core. It is now time to use our new acquisitions with what we already have to bring success to the club."

Both players are to take physicals tomorrow morning and are expected to play against Sacramento. Coach Jordan contested that both players will get minutes, but how many will be dependent on the situation.

The game went shot for shot early. Both Bibby and Redd were on fire, hitting big shots and getting the crowd into the game early. Bogut posterized Artest and Thomas early with a big jam! Miller hit a buzzer beater 3 to extend the Kings lead. Score: SAC 20 MIL 15.

Q2:
Bibby continued to fire and Artest started to exert his impact on the game at both ends. Redd was completely unstoppable dropping big shots on whoever was guarding him. Diogu showed his worth with some nice post moves and a couple of important boards. Kings extended the lead early, but a late 12-4 run by the Bucks, helped by some sweet Bogut assists, gave them the lead at the half. Score: SAC 41 MIL 42

Villanueva finally got going in the 3rd, getting shots both inside and out to fall. The Kings went on a run in the middle of the term, but efforts by CV31, Redd and Bogut cut the lead. Redd hit a 3 just before the buzzer to tie the game. Bogut's continual form began presenting the possibility for a triple double by the Big Man. With the tightness of the game and the quality individual performances being shown in front of the home crowd by Redd and Bogut, the Bradley Centre was buzzing. Score: SAC 67 MIL 67

Q4:
An early 3 point play by CV31 gave the Bucks the early lead. The game went shot for shot, with both teams holding the lead at stages. Price put up some valuable points off the bench for the Kings, and Bibby was setting up plenty of open looks. Price hit a three to tie the game at 84, but the home team went on a 9-2 run to close the game out.

Poor start by the Bucks on the road. Patterson drew 2 early fouls and had to sit. The Bulls were out rebounding and out hustling, with big plays early by Wallace and Nocioni. Gordon was hitting shots, and the Bulls interior defence was supreme. Redd continued his fine shooting form, hitting his first 3 shots - including two 3pt shots. But Ben Wallace's unstoppable quarter characterized the opening proceedings, with several tip backs, lay-ups and plenty of boards. Score: MIL 18 CHI 25

Q2:
Bulls started with a early run, and this game began to look like it was going to really open up. A big dunk by Villanueva turned the tide. Nocioni and Hinrich couldn't miss, neither could Redd who hit a valuable 3pt play. A late 14-5 Bucks run bought them back into contention. Mo Williams hit a big three to give the away side the lead just before the half time break. Score: MIL 38 CHI 37

Bulls retook the lead early, extending it to 7 in the opening minutes of the third. The hot shooting from both teams meant the lead was going back and forth regularly. Bogut got going offensively and on the boards, finally stepping up to Wallace. Redd was unconscious, hitting practically everything. Nocioni and Hinrich kept the Bulls going strong, running numerous pick n roll plays to get open shots. Score: MIL 58 CHI 61

Q4:
Chicago pulled ahead early again, using their prolific defence and meticulous offense to wear the Bucks down. Redd and Bogut tried hard to keep the Bucks in the game. Bogut had a big slam that swung the momentum slightly. Redd hit a big three with 2 minutes left to give the Bucks a one point lead. But the Bulls pulled ahead again to finish with the W.

Good game. Wallace is a beast, 22 rebounds . Tough loss, but the Bulls are a powerhouse in the East.

Good win vs the Kings, the Bulls are a good team, so it was pretty good being able to get close to them. I liek the trade, im a big fan of combo players like Daniels, hopefully it works out for you. Diogu is a good pick up as well, gives you some inside scoring

Nice trade i see you took my advice good luck for the rest of the season.

Good games, but in my opinion, you got raped in that trade. Boykins + Skinner for Daniels + Diogu is an equal trade in itself, but your first-round pick also? Well, it is a good move since you probably wont play two seasons.
