 This off-season the Celtics were focusing on Athleticism, because last year they were lacking on the boards, speed, and strength. All the players were working hard and are looking to get back on track and make the playoffs once again and possibly go further than the 1st Round.

 This season the Boston Celtics were working hard as the World Champs. They are finally trying to get something accomplished this season to make the playoffs and go deep. Paul Pierce is working as hard as ever, carrying this young Celtic team this season. He promised to the Celtics and to the whole organization that the Celtics will make the playoffs this year.

RECAP:
 The Boston Celtics and the NO/ Oklahoma city Hornets went back and forth in the game, but the Celtics came out on top. Chris Paul led the Hornets with 37 pts, and 7 ast. He was doing all he could to keep the Hornets in the game. Desmond Mason scored 19, while Peja Stojakovic & David West scored 11, each. Paul Pierce who was the POTG had a great all-around game, led the Celtics with 39 pts, 11 rebs, 9 ast. Wally World had 13, 2-5 from downtown, Telfair added 11, and Ryan Gomes with 11 and 5 off the bench. Celtics win the game and are 1-0. They will have practice tomorrow and face their opponents the following day.

 It was announced today that the Boston Celtics traded the rookie PG, Rajon Rondo to Cleveland for a SG/SF Aleksandar Pavlovic. Both teams will benefit from the trade, but I think that the Celtics got the best out of the deal.
