Sixers started the 4th, behind by 4. Sixers trusted Iverson and his speed. He made layups and free throws. With 22.8 sec's left on the clock, Igoudala went for a dunk and he was fouled. He made both free thows. The score was tied. Miami held the ball for the final shot. Wade took it. It was behind the 3pt lane, but he missed. In the extra period, it was all Iverson. 12 Pts and the Off. foules he earned, Miami had nothing else to do, then foul the sixers players. Sixers made the free throws. 76ers interested in Okafor.
Nov. 16 2006

Image

Rumors say, that 76ers is interested in Charlotte's Emeka Okafor. Today we got on a word with 76ers head coach. It's true.

Maurice Cheeks : "He's young and a great rebounder. He is also a great shot blocker. Maybe trade him for Webber, if the Bobcats is interested and if the Salary Cap allows it. Chris is getting older and his ratings are dropping. Chris Webber is a total money-eater, his salary is about 20M, mean whiw Emeka's is about 7M. We hope, that trade will be accepted."

Let's hope for the best :)

Around the League.

The Hornets sign M.Belinelli for 7.35M for 5 years.

Sat Nov 18, 2006 4:11 am

I don't think you need Okafor, you have Webber and Dalembert, unless you trade one of these guys for Okafor...

Sat Nov 18, 2006 4:12 am

I tried Webber for Okafor, but it's a cap problem. Webber takes, if i remember 22M. :x

Sat Nov 18, 2006 4:21 am

Yeah those major cap veterans can be a big headache...

Webber's salary was cut almost 2 times, but he still doesn't deserve that amount of money

Sat Nov 18, 2006 7:25 am

Yeah, but I think It's realistic enough, so it looks good...
