His name is Adam King. "Kevin McHale was always a good friend of mine

"But I promise the players, fans, and Timberwolves organization that you
will see improvement in this team." King also replied during a press conference.
McHale retired from GM and decided to coach high school basketball.
King says that he will be the best thing that ever happened to the team.

Timberwolves Take Part in Blockbuster Trade

Adam King, the new General Manager of the Timberwolves, has immediately taken part in a blockbuster tradewith
the New York Knicks. King says that he remembered watching Garnett and Marbury play together and wants to see
that again. That is why the Timberwolves have traded Ricky Davis and Rashad McCants for Stephon Marbury
and Penny Hardaway. King says the team chemistry will improve greatly with this trade. King hopes the trade
will benefit the team and hopefully everything will turn out good. A rumor has also developed that Ricky Davis
made rude remarks at the team practice and got into an argument with King. King immediately disliked this.

Minnesota Wins Season Opener

Minnesota 54 - Portland 49

Minnesota was playing a fast game. The first quarter started with steady play. Minnesota was up 6-2 when
Zach Randolph made an off-balance 3 to come within 1 point. Then it was a Fast-break Festival. There were
12 steals in the game and almost every one resulted in a downcourt push for a lay-up or dunk. In the closing
seconds of the game, Minnesota was down by 3. Randolph got double teamed and turned the ball over.
Garnett, who was the high man with 26 points, quickly threw a baseball pass to Bracey Wright, who just
came in from the Developement League. Wright spun around a defender and went in for a lay-up. Right
after this, Stephon Marbury stole the inbound pass and went in for a lay-up. The Wolves had the lead
and the crowd was on the edge of the seats. There was 20 seconds left. Juan Dixon brought the ball down
in a hurry and saw that Blake was open for a 3-pointer. Dixon passed as hard as he can. Until he noticed
that Marbury knew the pass was coming. Marbury intercepted it and raced downcourt and finished with
an alley-oop to the Big Man Kevin Garnett. After that the wolves slowed things up and kept the lead and won.

Trouble for Toronto

Toronto 45 - Minnesota 55

The first quarter started off extremely slow for Minnesota. They were down 11-2 with 60 seconds left. Then Marbury got fouled and went to the line, made both, and stole the inbound pass. Marbury stepped back and tooka 3 pointer and made that also. Marbury finished the game with 26 points. In the 4th quarter, the gamewas close throughout the whole quarter. Until Marbury came back. Marbury had a huge fourth quarter and gave them a lead. Charlie Villanueva played great defense on
Garnett and held him to 14 points. Garnett had a great game on the defensive end with 6 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 4 steals. Villanueva had 7 points and 10 rebounds. Mike James, the PG of Toronto had 7 points and 7 assists.Kerry Kittles, who was picked up by Portland, had 23 points and lead the team. The Timberwolves run lead byMarbury gave them the win.
So far, Marbury has found an important role with the team and him and Garnettare playing great together. Could the Timberwolves take this a step further? They are currently 2-0.
