NEWS FROM AROUND THE NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves have announced today that they have traded their star player --- Kevin Garnett, yea Kevin Garnett, but they get another all-star in return, the starting forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers, yea Lebron James. We asked Coach Casey about the trade and he said that Lebron is going to fit in perfectly into this team playing with stars like Ricky Davis and Eddie Griffin. That cleared a lot of cap space for us said Casey and now we are a young team, trying to make an impact this season.

TRADES:

The Timberwolves traded Kevin Garnett to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Lebron James.

The Timberwolves have announced today that they traded Mark Madsen, Rashad McCants to the Boston Celtics for Gerald Green.

The Timberwolves acquired Scott Padgett from the New Jersey Nets for Trenton Hassel, and Troy Hudson.

I played this game before I got Green and Padgett, so don't get confused.

RECAP:
The Wolves have won their season opener in a very one-sided game. Timberwolves won the game very nicely and they punished the Blazers. Portland's star, Randolph got injured in the 1st QTR, so he was out for the whole game. Telfair had 20 pts, and Blake had 19 pts, 5 ast. Ricky Davis had a good game scoring 33 pts, on 13-22 FG. Lebron scored his 1st career triple double scoring 45 pts, 14 ast, 12 stl, 7 rebs. He was absolutely outstanding the whole game and he did what he was supposed to do, playing like a King.

I agree...also very unrealistic trade. The Cavs already have Gooden.
Noreover you're going to play LBJ not in his position (i know he can play everywhere, but i think it's best as a SG or SF).
