October 7, San Antonio - The San Antonio Spurs hired Marty Bettman as their assistant coach in the coming season. Bettman's contract was worth 1.15 million for 2 years.

Dion Waller was also hired as the team trainer. He was offered 724 thousand for 1 year. He is a specialist in arm and leg injuries.

Saul Baldwin, on the other hand, was hired as the team's scout. He works in Africa at present. He was offered 458 thousand for 1 year.

"I'm expecting our new staff members to help bigtime in the team," said Gregg Popovich.

October 27, San Antonio - The San Antonio Spurs finished their training camp with very good results according to their assistant coach. "Everyone played hard and did their best," Bettman added.

"Beno improved on a lot of things. Same goes with Rasho, Manu, Fabricio, Sean," said Gregg Popovich. "Good to see Tony Parker doing things very well inside the paint," he added.

"We should do very well this season," said Duncan.

Nov. 3, Los Angeles - Amare Stoudemire suffered a torn achilles tendon in their game against the Lakers. He will be out for 10 weeks. The Lakers defeated the Suns in that game 95-76.

Nice game by Duncan, I dunno what you could do to make it more exciting.

And get used to the little number of replies....... It seems like its normal, except of some really good dynasties (mine not included )
